£15 for games at Conference Premier level is fair enough. More than that is a rip off.

A lot of clubs in this league including Alfreton, Wrexham, Luton, Cambridge to name a few charge £18,

I think Aldershot charge £17 and a few charge £16, like Grimsby, Macclesfield, Lincoln.

The others charge £15 apart from Tamworth, Southport and Nuneaton who last season charged £12 & £14.

For me a pain is some enlightened clubs like Welling charge concession rate at 60 and others live in the dark ages giving concession at 65 even for women supporters who get state pension before becoming 65.

Okay Tom, seeing as you asked so nicely and I am feeling in a generous mood today, I will over the next few days  give you some tips on all away days in the BSP.

They are businesses not charities. Surprised we don't do the same.

Well...here goes....I may get attacked over this BUT I think it should be a case of 'if you cant beat them then join them'

We could....

Keep Season Tickets at the price they are and then charge a higher 'match day' price - I dont know if you 'vary' your prices throughout the season BUT why not match what the opposition charge then there could never be any complaints

With reference to the season ticket as some cannot afford one lump sum then a monthly standing order would suffice

I appreciate the argument, Mark, but I think we may alienate potential supporters by matching some of those ticket prices.  I suspect that £15 is about the limit for casual supporters - unless, of course, we have unbridled success on the pitch in Cup and league.  Incidentally, as this thread is titled "Halifax", did anybody else notice that the NLP put the Wings logo next to Halifax in its report of the Shaymen's friendly?  I bet they were pleased, not.

Braintree have catagory A B and C games and charge £16,£15 and £14. If we were to do that no doubt it would be for the bigger and possibly segregated games. Then we would alienate even more fans by charging them extra and then saying you can't sit where you like to. IMHO I feel our price structure is fair for this league.

I think our price is fair, considering the amount of completion on our door step, really dislike the idea of category games, a big team comes down so we ll charge u more to support ur team?

My Scottish team Dumbarton are charging the following prices for season 13/14 Adult - £16, Concessions - £9, Parent and Child - £21 (all seater stadium) for the Scottish First Division which is probably on a par with the Conference Premier so I am happy to pay £15.

Yes if you are going to grow a support base the clever thing to do is charge less but then have more to spend money on inside the ground. At Welling a perfectly good bar is almost always shut because common sense fails to reign with E&B!

According to a post on the conference forum Davids has taken the number 1 shirt because he can, and the players were laughed at by MK Dons players as they have to call him Mr Davids. Can't say if this is true or not but if it is OMG WTF
