I'll get your goal scorers for you later. I can give you our team line up too.
Brief summary, we played you off the park LOL. We did outplay your lads, we have a very strong and skilful team with a few very skilful players who can hold the ball, do tricks and have very powerful physical strength. YOur team looked good, we just overpowered you on the day.
Welling scored first with a penalty early in the first half. We came back at you with a superb hattrick from JJ (Jeremiah Olusanya). Welling brought it back to 3-2 in the second half but we got the final goal by a penalty.
"JJ" The danger man for the Angels with his brother Danny (right)...
I enjoyed the game today - from an Angel point of view. Welling are strong, but on the day Angels were stronger, wouldn't allow you into the game - much. Joel Thumpston is a a strong player, one of those that stand out beyond his years. We have a few like that too. Ignoring the score, your keeper is very good. He commands his area well.
Well done to the supporters and parents that turned out on the day. It was bleeding freezing! I woke up with a stinking cold and I got fed up taking pics and getting really cold hands so had put the camera away just before your 2nd goal - sorry
I hope you enjoy the pics. It was good to see you all.

Thanks for the summary and pics, bitch. Sounds like it was a good match.
The Under 16's are on results the better of our 2 youth teams, though the under 18's did manage to pull off a 1-0 win today. Both Joel Thumpston (? Thompson) and Raishi Nankani have had a first team outing albeit in a weakened LSC side and by all accounts they both impressed. Nice to hear that we have another goalie in the making (hadn't really thought about it before but over the years we almost always seem to have had good keepers.)

Forgot to mention - with honours even at a win apiece the decider comes in the Kent Youth League Cup - Group C match on 5 March. Here's hoping that we make the best of our home draw.

Match report taken from Tonbridge Angels Official Site
Angels 4 - 2 Welling Utd
Scorers: Jay-Jay Olusanya [4]
Four goals from Jay-Jay Olusanya broke the hearts of a good Welling team who had taken the lead after 5 minutes from the penalty spot when Scott Whibley fouled Stevens in the penalty area, Wilson scoring with ease. Within 10 minutes the home side supporters were treated to a spectacular 6 minute hat trick from Olusanya,The first goal of his hat trick was a stunning curling right foot shot, which beat London Rep keeper Busby all end up,the second came following good work by Beecroft,Olusanya firing home from close range with his left foot, and his third came after a dazzling run into the penalty area saw his first effort blocked by Busby but Olusanya reacted quicker to the rebound and blasted his shot home. With Welling visibly stunned by the goals stand in keeper Lewis Richards was rarely tested but when he was he dealt with everything comfortably. The second half was dominated by the home team albeit it was the visitors who scored the next goal after a lack of concentration in the home defence left Smith unmarked to slot the ball home.Angels responded well and a run into the box ended up with Wilson scything down Stanford,Olusanya converting from the spot to wrap up the point.
Julian Leigh said 'Brilliant hat-trick from J.J. his first three goals were a different class, but the whole team contributed to 3 very good points against a well organized side.'
