Here we go then, our first game back in the Conference and on paper a tough start,

Early season does throw up some funny scores so lets hope we can work hard and get a good result and catch them cold. I think we will go 4-5-1 which will go 4-3-3 at times, rather than the 5 at the back tried at Bromley.

WingsTV should have live full match internet radio commentary from the racecourse ground on Saturday (By Spills and hopefully a summariser) for subscribers  in the WingsTV members area and also video highlights to follow.

THE TIME HAS COME

Greetings,

Very much looking forward to Saturday - football is back!

Wrexham is very much a football town, so you'll find the locals knowledgeable, humorous and friendly when talking football. There's plenty of pubs in the town centre and four within 5 minutes of the ground. The Turf, Maesqwyn (which also has car parking), The Plas Coch and the Wrexham Lager Club. Underneath the Yale Stand (where you guys will be housed) is the Centenary Club, which allows in away fans.

There will be a 'live' match thread on the Wrexham forum "RedPassion" - http://www.redpassion.co.uk/forums/ on the day of the game, if you wish to keep updated. As well as Wrexham fans updates, this will have a link to BBC Wales, as and when it goes live (usually at 14:55!). They broadcast our games live, so you'll be able to find the link and listen to the whole 90 minutes of coverage, The Wrexham twitter feed is also very good for updates - https://twitter.com/Wrexham_AFC

Pub guide - http://www.onttss.co.uk/hullabaloo.htm

Ground guide - http://www.footballgroundguide.com/conference/wrexham.htm

Have a safe trip, those of you making the long trip. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Bet365 are offering prices on loads of markets including to score first, last or anytime on Saturday.

My pick.. Healy to score at any time 11/2

Bookies clearly not  done their research as Luis Cumbers is joint favourite to score first for us. Ross is 10s to score first 11/4 to score at anytime in game and 100/1 to get a hat-trick.

The away 'end' is the section to the far left. The blue seats, known as the 'Mold End' of the Yale Stand. The Centenary Club is underneath this stand, as is the club shop/ticket office. However, this is going through a re-furbishment. We have a temporary ticket office, underneath the Glyndwr University Stand (GUS). This is the stand behind the goal, right next to the away section.

Just spoken to Wrexham and they've confirmed that we can use the Centenary Bar. This is situated in the Yale stand we will be in close to the half way line. For any supporters going to the ground by train/car we can only gain access to the ground via turnstiles 1-4.

Tip for those of you going with your kids. According to the Wrexham website family tickets are available from the ticket office situated in their club shop. They cannot be bought on turnstiles.

Wrexham's website also offers away fans the option to buy match tickets online and print at home, saving time on the day if that's of interest to anyone.

Wrexham were my League team when I grew up (family live up there). When I first saw Welling in 81-82 in the Southern League South, Wrexham were in the old Division 2. I never thought they would ever play each other in a league game so seeing Welling play at the Racecourse tomorrow will be very, very odd.

I've seen Wrexham beat the likes of Arsenal, Ipswich, Birmingham & Middlesbrough in Cup ties & play Man Utd in the Cup Winners' Cup. I'm hoping they don't beat the Wings though; a lively 3-3 draw in both home & away games will do me fine. With both getting promoted come the end of the season too blankstare

There'll be live commentary and updates on WingsTV:

However the Facebook group should also have updates, along with the BBC site and SkySports:

Bench: Turner, the Oberstellers, Pires and Hughes Mason (even though he failed a fitness test)

I find it a hard one that Pires 'if' he is meant to be the man ...is on the bench

We are already short of players and we havent started yet with Hughes Mason failing a fitness test

Can only assume Ober has a problem too? As good a player as Franks is, he's not a better left-back than him.

tannoy bloke here struggling with some of our players' names, even with one as simple as Alex Dyer. His pronounciation of Loick Pires sounded like another person entirely.

We played well first half took game to them and their keepers saved 3 or 4 times. Healys goal was sublime. Gallagher chested it knocked it past his opponent whipped in a ball to edge of box and Healy placed a flying header in the corner. Second half we ran out of steam a bit and then went 5 at the back, No one picked up a goal kick by them, they played it across the edge of the box and their guy slammed it home. A soft goal but the overall performance was first class, we learned today we are a little bit better than we thought we were and we arent out of place in this league and can take the game to some big clubs.

Highlights will be up on WingsTV tomorrow night. Hopefully with the commentary from Radio Wings over the top. Great job today by Spills and Joe doing the live commentary from the Racecourse Ground.

On to Wednesday and am confident if we work as hard we could see a good solid performance. Our midfield were good today and we played decent.

Turns out BBC Radio Wales match commentaries aren't broadcast outside Wales. They provide all the pre-match build up then cut out at the crucial moment. C**k-teases.

Can pick up score updates from Wrexham forum but any updates on how we're playing would be appreciated. Don't want to rely on a facebook page run by TBKIAH ;)

COYWs!
