Match highlights are now on WingsTV and interviews with Jamie Day and Alex Dyer will follow shortly.

 

Hopefully a new improved video quality on the highlights as despite filming in HD for 3 seasons we have upgraded to a higher quality of HD format Feel free to comment if you have seen improvement.

Jamie Day freeview is now on the official website sponsored by WUSA the Welling United Supporters Association. It is no coincidence that we have upgraded to a new camera (despite already having a HD camera) since WUSA kindly offered to sponsor Jamie's Freeview on WingsTV this season and the end of season video for presentation night.

Hi Tom

The Jamie interview cuts off just as he is telling us about injuries (gets to half way through the Faz story)

Any update on what he said ref the other injuries?

That was my fault Mark, the last few seconds the microphone battery went. So there is no noise at all and i dont think Jamie miming would have been fun. Maybe Spills can post what he remembers Jamie saying. there were only a few seconds left when it went i was off sorting the DVD of the game so the club could make copies for the visitors and officials.

Hi guys

Jamie said Mclaren and Cumbers would partake in full contact training soon with a view to going out on loan. KHM is about 10 days away, Mott a few weeks. Jamie also touched on our next two games, saying he was pleased to have a week break until Woking to work on a few things on the training ground with the lads as well as reflect on a busy week. He said we must not let standards slip against two tough games in Woking and Salisbury but he is pleased with 4 points from 3 games.

What's the story with Lee Butcher? Is he here on non-contract as cover for Mott? Or is he here for the season? Haven't heard anything at all about him from the club.

Also - Barney Williams. Is it right that he's on loan/dual registration at VCD? Seems odd if so because I'd have thought he's further along than JoeBo in terms of his development. Wouldn't be in the first XI, but turned into a very reliable backup last season.

 Some of these questions are answered in the programme.

Barney Williams is getting games at VCD. Should something happen to a defender while Loui Fazakerley is away, I guess he could be called back. Joe Obersteller did not let us down when needed last season and is a very able player to have on the bench as cover.
