I am doing some university research on fans' views towards the level of violence and corruption in football. I have created an anonymous online survey and I hope you can spare a couple of minutes to complete it: http://www.topfan.co.uk

Thanks in advance.

A bit of feedback. For starters, it does not state on the website what the project is nor what the data is being used for. Speaking of which, why not just use something like survey monkey or a similar site? Seems odd to have your own domain to simply host a survey. I'm sure more people would be confident on clicking the URL of a trusted survey provider. Also, why ask for an age range and then ask for the specific age? Hopefully this is some constructive criticism for you, though I fear you may never return to this forum again...

Thanks for this Trundle. It is an independent and anonymous university project. It's got no financial gain towards it, just an interest in gathering fans' views on corruption and violence. Thanks to those who have completed the survey. It's still live if anyone has a spare minute or two. Thanks in advance.

Just read about that in the NLP. Absolutely shocking! One of the players got stabbed with an athletics pole!

Well done to the players for playing on in the second half. They could have easily abandoned the game. No arrests so far sadly.

I recall seeing this on the tv a few years ago and when i googled it i found that its not the only country it happened to.

www.youtube.com/watch

as El salvador and Honduras had a minor tiff too !!!!

www.omg-facts.com/History/El-Salvador-Once-Went-To-War-With-Hondur/21198

but this War is just crazy and beyond belief but TRUE

The War of the Oaken Bucket (Italy)

1325-37

This ridiculous war started over a stolen bucket. When a group of soldiers from the city of Modena in northern Italy
invaded nearby Bologna to steal a brown oak bucket, thousands of citizens were killed.
Bologna became angry and went to war with Modena to take back their bucket and restore their pride.
The two cities fought for 12 years and thousands of lives were lost. Modena won the war and to add insult to injury as it were ............

the people of Bologna never got their bucket back.
