Kick off 3pm today not evening as some places state.
They are without Jamie White up front which is a touch. If we put in a shift, them having one of their top players out can only be good for us. Lets hope we can carry on the confident and productive start to the season, no reason why we cant if we do what we have done so far in every game.

Today will be a good benchmark to see how we've progressed since last season, when we were poor against Salisbury at home despite winning, and pretty terrible away.
I think the best thing about our season so far is that Jamie hasn't played and we haven't noticed. Over the previous two seasons he had tried to move away from playing so regularly, but in games without him you could see our ball retention wasn't as good. That hasn't been the case this year.
The Dyer-Gallagher-Beautyman trio in midfield has everything and will only improve as they get older and more used to playing with each other, and Clarkie can come in to provide an experienced option. Exciting times.
Yes, our midfield has huge potential, even without Day.
The other (nice) headache for Jamie is what to do when Pires is fully fit and able to start matches. Does he start Pires on the left and move Healy into the middle (where I think he's most effective) or does he rotate Pires and Guthrie and keep Healy on the left? And I haven't even considered Hughes-Mason yet...
With Mott, Hughes-Mason, Day, Cumbers and Mclaren still to come back from injury, and Fazakerley to soon return from his work trip, I can't recall the last time we had such a strong squad. We even have a bunch of youngsters to bring in if necessary.
First half we overplayed trying to score the perfect goal. By contrast, second half we didnt play the ball on the deck at all. Far too many long balls up to strikers who, even if they won it, rarely had a player within 20 yards to pass to. Thought we lacked energy and penetration in centre midfield, probably due to the two games in 48 hours. I honestly felt like we would have won against 11 men without all their time wasting antics. Still, it's another point on the board. Onwards and upwards.
Edit: I was behind the goal and didnt see Puddy spit, just an exchange of words

We didn't deserve to lose, and thankfully we didn't. Although, at times it could have ended up being that way. We put in a good shift today, defence held up for the clean sheet. Yes, we were unlucky not to win, but every player misses a penalty. On any other day, we could have won the game, but in some way, the red card went in salisburys favour. It made them realise that they would be happy with a point, so that's what they sat back for and time wasted for. The ref allowed too much of the time wasting to go on though.....especially allowing the keeper to hold the ball for 13 seconds not once but TWICE! It was like that all second half! Gallagher put in a great performance today, as did Obo. We don't need to worry. I remember people saying that people shouldn't be worrying until 5 games in and we are near the bottom, yes we could and probably should have won today, but we are 5 games in and IN THE TOP HALF! We have probably played some of the hardest games in the process too! Tough start away to Wrexham, unfortunate not to get anything. Home to Cambridge and we were (up until today) the only team to make them drop points in the first four games! Grimsby at home, has to be one of the title favourites and we did win it late but we still got maximum points! Woking the same, crunch match and we completed the game in the first third! Today was just a minor blip in a long season to come. We can get back on track at Hereford, we know we are capable of putting in a good performance so lets get behind the lads and cheers them on from the first whistle! COME ON YOU WINGS!

Their 22 was not very sporting after the penalty and the ref saw it. Let them have their point, the timewasting was laughable must have wasted 15 mins second half, but it was our job to break them down. Fair play to them for not folding. Healy has been superb for us. Lets have a rendition of Eric Brackstone comes to me as they warm up at Hereford. Shows you how much we are respected at PVR now when teams just bang balls at Obo in the air and timewaste.

Salisbury with a good break but we've responded with the ball out to Curtis who crosses it into the box, but cleared away to safety. Both teams settling down and just as I write, Salisbury miss a glorious chance.
