Why so few subs? We have one of the biggest squads, on paper, I've seen so far this season and yet yesterday we had at most 2 fit outfield players on the bench, assuming Callum was fit. Are they all injured or have they been out on loan and are cup tied. Joe Obersteller, Sam Corne, Malik Ouani, Malachi Hudson, Barney Williams and Frankie Griffin - could none of them have been on the bench?

I'd take the squad on the back of the programme with a pinch of salt. If you applied the same principle than Man Utd have a squad of about 80 players.
Most are injured though. And those that were doubts weren't used as it was assumed they wouldn't be needed, ie. Ross. I would have thought he could have played if absolutely needed, but I think it was decided it wasn't worth the risk given the opposition.

I believe Barney played in an earlier qualifier and is therefore cup tied, so I would assume its the same for Hudson, Ouani etc.

Judging by his twitter I think Sam Corne was due to go (and possibly start) but had an injury.

Hopefully next week will see us at pretty much full strength. Roscoe should come back in and Beautyman will hopefully be on the bench.

I believe that all is correct apart from Harry Beautyman who is at least three weeks away.

You can add Doug Bergqvist, Baily Cargill and Alex Dyer to the probable availabilities for next Saturday

When does Baily's loan term expire?  Any news as to whether it will be extended?

Saturday is his last game. Now that Bergqvist and Hudson are fit, I doubt if his loan will be extended but I guess it depends on how much Welling are paying towards his wages.

Extended or not this young man is certainly one to watch in the future. If Saturday is his last game for us I wish him all the very best for his career.

The lad has certainly impressed at centre half in the three games I have seen him.

If we have three centre halves fit then it seems pointless to extend the loan and, if there are any further injuries later in the season, then presumably we could go back and get him for another month (or two) later in the season?

We could play Cargill at left back and push Obo further forward.

That's a good idea. Let's also put Alex Dyer in goal,  Kiernan Hughes-Mason at centre half and Lee Butcher on the right wing.

We could even make some subs whilst we're at it...

I did n't go to Halifax but it seems Cargill had a shocker? It may have just been a one off as it seems left back used to be his natural position.

The only centre position KHM should have is the centre of the subs bench.

bit of an over reaction to an idea not too wild esp as we don't seem to have too much cover at left back, I think obb could do a job on the left, not first choice but an option?

It's a squad game. His chance will come and when it does, he'll be fine.
