I spoke with McLaren about two weeks ago and they were both being sent out somewhere for a training camp. Not heard anything since, nor seen them around the club.
I was told that Connor was 2 mths behind Luis and that Luis was being sent for a week to the NEW England training camp for fitness stuff then I guess he will do full training then off on loan
As I said Connor is some way behind
I dont know about contracts.......maybe someone else has more info
I think its mutual sensible/agreed/fair that they hang around/are given a chance. We stood by them and paid them when injured. They were key players at times. We owe them a chance to have another crack when fit, likewise, I would hope they would want that chance with us given they have slipped off the radar a little. Win win for both parties. I assume they stay in touch until they are fit and then get offered non-contract terms if/when they prove they are fit and are still of the required standard/needed
