Everyone,I've deleted the attendances thread as I was not happy with some of the comments in it. Whatever everyone's opinions on how the gate is calcualated and who does/doesn't get counted, some of the comments were borderline and I thought it best to remove them.
If anyone has any queries, why don't they ask Barrie how they are calculated instead of speculating on here? There are numerous times people come on here asking questions that no-one here is going to know the answer for. So either go and ask the relevant people or phone the club!

Dean I know you are in a difficult position and have to look out for yourself but I'd love to know what was said that was so "borderline" it needed deleting.
This is an independent forum. Independent from the club. Once again views expressed that are not positive to the club, or have been negative towards players, have been deleted, amended or criticised.
Why is that? Are the club asking for things to be removed? If so I'd love to give my answer.
We are not answerable to the club. Neither are they answerable to us. Is debate not allowed?
If everything posted must be positive then there is little point in posting at all.
One post hinted that we might be under declaring our crowds to intentionally avoiding tax. I was going to post that potentially defamatory postings aren't wise either by the individual or the forum that carries them, but in the end I couldn't be bothered.....
taking this thread into a different direction: I reckon we have on average a home fan base of 450 - 650 the Luton game brought out another 200 people supporting welling on the day, and well done to those who worked to try and increase awareness. I suspect that the majority of them will not come back for the Nuneaton game.
I think if we can increase our fan base to 600 -800 it will kept the club in good steed for the future. (which I think is realistic target for a suburban based team and is probably a fair reflection of our community who want to watch non league football.)
