Yes, of course all forum posters have that right. And others have the right to disagree with you. I would also argue that players should have the right to show their displeasure/disagreement with certain comments at the end of a match too - especially if they have put in a reasonable performance. Otherwise civil liberty goes out the door.
Fair points all. I for one do not voice comments towards players at a game as in the heat of the moment you are asking for trouble. I just think that the player in question has not produced the goods at all this season and did say that maybe a month or two away at a lower level may give them the confidence they need to produce at this level.
I was as surprised as anyone as to how poor they have been and maybe the simple fact is they were not that good in the first place. Ross has stepped up from a much lower level and is up to the job at this level, same with Clarkie and others who have put the hard pre season work in.
With the size of the Welling squad and budget we cannot afford to carry passengers at all and if players do not like this label then it is up to them to produce some performances otherwise they should leave!!
I don't have a guilt complex as I am not guilty of anything. All I am saying is that at this level if a player doesn't deliver the goods then with our small budget we can't carry any passengers. A fair point I think.
