So 2013 is ending and it is a year that Welling finally returned to their correct position in Conference Premier. An achievement that cannot be over emphasised and lots of credit must go to the Management team of Jamie Day, Barry Ashby, Frosty and others. Also the Hobbins family and the many WUSA volunteers and other loyal supporters. Also we should be proud to have a team with so much team spirit and affinity with the supporters.

Special praise to Ross Lafayette, Jake Gallagher and Fraser Franks the 3 best players I think for this calendar year.

Also Lee Clarke is a legend for the obvious effort he has put in to get fit in pre season and the leadership on and off the park over many seasons, a credit to the man and someone who I think will be the next Welling manager once Jamie Day moves on deservedly to a Football league Job.

May the Wings go onwards and upwards in 2014 and finally may I wish all the staff, players and fellow supporters a great 2014.
