Jamie Day interview will play below from around 6pm. Lee Butcher interview will follow shortly afterwards on WingsTV.
Match highlights will be up hopefully very late tonight on WingsTV with commentary from Radio Wings as broadcast live last night from JoeMcCrory and Mark Shuttleworth.
Fair point about the supporters giving the players credit by Day. That Hyde defeat and the criticism for that on here (justified in my view) seems to have given the players a kick up the backside. A superb 4 points in the last two games.
Now with Gallagher and Oberstellar back, Pires only a couple of weeks away, and with a few loan signings coming in- we look strong again. Hopefully we can kick on again now and look to finish as high as possible.

Jamie, if you read this, or someone reads it on your behalf and relays it, you know they get the credit when they deserve it. And always will. We were very, very poor against Dartford and Hyde, and as mentioned above, and I'm sure by you and your staff, the kick up the bum has worked. Well done. Long may it continue.
No Welling fan slags Welling people off for enjoyment. And sure, sometimes people go a step too far unintentionally, but if that acts as a motivation then its all good.
All interviews and 18 mins of highlights are up on WingsTV.
Some incredible defending and slinging bodies in the way in those highlights.
For anyone thinking the commentary got that wrong with the names a couple of times... The fact they were about a quarter of a mile away from the pitch and the lights were a bit dark would be factors to take on board..

A fantastic season so far. Lets push on.

Yes, I agree with you Kevin. The match against Hyde was awful, but to come back from that with four well-earned points after impressive attacking and defensive displays deserves tremendous credit and you only have to look on this board for the praise that followed immediately after the final whistle at Gateshead and before Jamie, rightly, aired his comments. We will sound off, but we also give lots of praise where it is due. For instance, it may be a crap match and the Wings under the cosh, but there is always great applause and congratulatory comments when a player makes an effort to tackle back or makes a telling run or pass. Nobody expects brilliance all the time, but we always appreciate effort.
Incidentally, it would be rather nice to learn that we have made some signings this week - sooner rather than later! Regarding match videos and commentaries - we are up there with the best, sometimes facilities or location will play a part but that is understandable (especially when opposition supporters drown out match commentary!)
