Very disappointing. Good luck to Doug in the future and thanks for your efforts. Hopefully the new bloke Mawson will be an adequate replacement but I'm sure Jamie will be looking for another loanee. Perhaps Bailey Cargill?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh When the Wingssssss
Very frustrating but little anyone can do about it. Maybe no fixture this weekend could be a good thing and give us a chance to look at possible replacements.
Thanks to Doug who did a great job at the back for us and good luck

I think we've already had Baily for the maximum time allowed (3 months) this season.
What can you do when a young talented lad wants to play professional football and ideally like a contract! Good luck out there, those Sweeds are building a Wings XI, maybe we should be twined and get something out of the deal.
Always gonna happen. We've players playing above themselves, and Welling as a whole are punching above their weight at the moment. Young players, given the option of part-time training and money with us on a one year deal, or full-time more money and two years elsewhere, will choose elsewhere.
Good luck Dougie, and thanks for your efforts in a Wings shirt.
Doug did well and I quite enjoyed his robust style of play however I do wonder whether it'll make him more prone to injury than some. For me Blaine has had the edge (a giant in the air) and has been available for selection more often.
A chance for Alfie Mawson and perhaps someone else when the loan window opens.
