Any news on why Obo and Guthrie are out?

Are Williams, Malachi Hudson, Ouani etc still Welling players? Seems weird not to be able to fill the bench if these players are on dual registration/reserves/loan

This is the first I've seen of Tobi and Toby and they've been impressive these first ten minutes. Ajala, in particular, is extremely quick and worrying their defence.

Ajala just scuffed a golden chance to make it two. Really need to take these chances while we're on top.

We started that half with such intensity and looked like we might have scored one or two more. We were pressing high and the pace of Tobi and Toby unsettled them.
Then we sat a bit deeper later in the half and gave Gateshead a couple of good chances, which they fortunately didn't take.
If we can start the second half the same way we started the first, hopefully we'll get that all-important second goal.

Hello from a bleak Kent countryside. Couldn't make the game tonight cos of a back injury, but glad the boys are doing well. Glad that Pauline is doing OK - as from Saturday, I'm off to New Zealand via Singapore, so will check out the scores.  Hopefully, the time that I come back, we'll be safe.  Enjoy the coffee Mark.

Their keeper has saved them on a couple of occasions by coming out quick when we've had one on ones.

Betfair actually suspended all bets on the game just after the first goal! Says it all about the lads performance. Keep it up.

What was the crowd like tonight?  BBC sport gives attendances for every other Conference game apart from ours

I was told they both have mumps, all that close physical contact when Kurtis got his goal no doubt. Excellent performance tonight

Conference website shows attendance of 455.  Real shame there were not more there to see perhaps our best performance of the season against a very good side.  Hope this encourages more to attend on Saturday.

HI Cynical I must admit I did not hear any official attendance given out, but I would guess in the region 450 - 550 600 at a push ( hopefully I am wrong and it is higher than 600)

I would have loved to have gone tonight but I'm at home looking after my newborn (5 days old) Daughter.

The comedy fest of Man U losing to Olympiakos would have kept people in as well.
