Hi
Looking forward to Saturday. We're a bit knackered so you might come away with a point or three.

Note we are all ticket now, the ticket office is right in front of you as you go in through the entrance off the roundabout - away terrace is to the right of the ticket office. Bar (Green Man) is round to the left of the building and opens at midday usually. As ticket queues get a bit long close to kick off it's best to get your ticket when you arrive then head for the bar.

You can also get a ticket in advance online, just print off or get it texted to your phone. Turnstiles are unmanned now so you just show QR code on ticket or phone to the scanner. Tickets here:

http://www.forestgreenroversfc.com/tickets

Green Man serves real ale, also hot food (fish & chips is only £5-odd) and has several TV screens.

Parking at ground is £3, street parking is possible but restricted on matchdays.

Nearest railway station is Stroud but there are half-hourly buses to Nailsworth, to within 100m of ground.

Safe trip to those making it, happy to answer any questions.

 Most helpful.

One question - where do we get hot dogs or burgers from?

How many ales do you have on? Something interesting (such as a local microbrewery) or the likes of Doom Bar / Greedy King IPA?

Any other decent pubs in the area?

Green Man has an arrangement with Stroud Brewery. www.stroudbrewery.co.uk/

Ale could be Tom Long, Budding, Teasel, don't know yet. Usually only one on though.

There's a microbrewery in the Village Inn, on the A46 in Nailsworth just uphill of the church (GL6 0HH). The Britannia also welcomes visiting fans (GL6 0DG) - not easy to find but if you're at the Village, the Brit is at the end of Market St, the start of which is opposite the Village. Also Egypt Mill, on the north side of the mini roundabout, welcomes footy fans on matchdays.

Bear in mind these are in town and it's a good 25-30 minute walk up a steep hill to the ground from there. There are no other pubs in the vicinity of the ground itself.

If you knew our car parks you'd realise you'll be packed so tight you won't be able to open the tailgate wink

Official line is you can bring meat products into the ground, you just won't be able to buy them there. Cooking on site might be frowned on though.
