Dear all Welling United fans.

I would like to start by saying a massive heartfelt thank you to all of you for your kindness and amazing hospitality last night. I think I can speak on behalf of all Bulls fans when I say we were astounded and touched by the level of support and good will we received.

Thanks to your generosity we collected a total of £521.38 which will be split evenly between the club and the trust.

A little update for you; It is believed we have made the payment to HMRC and will avoid a winding up order after the 7 day adjournment. All money we have raised now we are requesting go towards the players wages. These players are a couple of months behind on wages and we all know how hard that must be. We have a long way to go, and much more fundraising to do, but with this positive unity and mobilisation of our fans we look forward to brighter and more prosperous (adequately budgeted) times.

Fans and clubs like yours truly are what football is all about. You are a credit to your town, league and the football community. Your help and support won't be forgotten and one day I hope we can take steps to repay the favour, but to start with I hope a sincere thank you will do, well, that and maybe ensuring we send 1 or 2 of your rivals down instead of us.

Hopefully, see you again next year.

Thank You.

The three point donation last night will hopefully make it easier for you to survive at this level subject to your issues with HMRC.
