For whatever reason we just can't muster a decent performance against these pig farmers, but...

Dartford are down! Awooga

Come on though Wings, let's finish on a high with 3 points against Southport on Saturday.

Lots of new faces needed to freshen up this team or we could have problems next season.

Why are people writing off players who have served us well for the best part of the season. I think the length of the season, the loss of players at key times and the need to bring in loan players has caught up with us at the end of the season.

That is not a criticism of any of the loan lads, but we have had no chance for consistency in the latter part of the season with regard to the team.

Once we reached safety it was always likely it would be swapped around a bit. Some of the criticism is a bit galling because we have done fantastically well just to stay up and I would have taken 17th (the lowest we can finish) if you had offered it in August.

Moves for Dyer, Franks and Bergqvist all show that as a club we are doing things right bringing in players with something to work from.

A summer break will refresh the players and while some will move on but if anyone is expecting us to be contending for the play-offs next season then you are going to be sorely disappointed unless someone turns up with a wheelbarrow full of money.

Yes it is disappointing to lose four on the spin but overall we should be proud of the season and our club

Agree with most of what you say tannoyman but what makes you think that the players being written off are not the loan players?

I agree it's been a great season but changes do need to be made.

And I'm not convinced that even if someone did turn up with a wheelbarrow full of money that the Hobbins would except it!

To be fair, the one player whose attitude stank at Halifax isn't at the club any more

Can't comment on Halifax and yesterday but I did think the white flag was raised at Kiddy the other week and I said so on here!

If you read comments from the manager he was off the same opinion as well in relation to that game.

Understandable I suppose but not necessarily acceptable.

Well that was really pants...... I have not seen a beating like that since i borrowed a tenner of wife just to spend in the bookies :(. I did say to a fella on the coach its always a worry when end of season and not much to play for, the first 20mins you would of thought we was playing real madrid the amount of time we was giving them and the defense OMG..... Blaine seems to making errors every week now but tbh the whole back 5 including Turner GK was really crap for the first 20mins so I am not singling out. My son still had a gr8 time and now that Toby Ajala gave him a high five for collecting balls he now has a fav player which is nice :) I still had a nice time also and met some nice people on the coach and at the game and also had the pleasure of meeting the london marathon runner POLO. Some things are so strange to me at the moment like where is Guthrie? Why keep changing the goalies? Why keep playing 1 up front? :(. But anyways I am still going saturday with the lad and hopefully we show some balls and play like we was earlier in the season I dont mind losing if playing ok but when playing like this its frustrating to say the least anyways CMON you wings 3 points saturday plz :)

Some good bits of news in Jamies interview. He is going to carry on playing which is good (although we still need someone else in the squad who can whip in a decent set piece). Also good to here that Barney Williams, Sam Corne , Malaki Hudson and Malik Ouani are staying on.

It's not the first time he has highlighted our disappointing crowds at PVR this season and he also linked it to our poor recent form there. Hopefully the cub can recognise this and look to work with the T1000 committee to boost the support base.

It's going to be a big summer at PVR with the club hopefully moving forward on and off the pitch.

I thought he had already stopped to be fair! I want to see hudson and ouani in the 1st team, even if they don't start they are quick attacking options to come on. Both have had good seasons at their loan clubs.

As for the support, maybe a few more roaming cafc fans now dartford are down..but i honestly think a 1000 is not achievable. You can flyer and advertise as much as you want but the fact is If you live in welling/bexleyheath and like football then you know the club is there...if they don't go to games its because they don't like football, their wives won't let them, they ain't prepared to pay £15 (in most cases) or they go Millwall, charlton, arsenal, chelsea, spurs. Seriously, you stand at bexleyheath station between 8am and 11am and see how many blokes are in these teams colours going to games.
