I've been looking through some of the questionnaires from the Southport game and lots of people have said that they would liked to have seen more away travel next season.
I'm still hoping to run the coach travel again and I would love to get an away coach running to every game at some point (think we may not reach this point for a while!). I'm always happy to try and organize coaches, it just needs the support of people willing to travel. To try and get more people involved I am setting up a mailing list that I can send out, letting people know about upcoming coaches, hopefully this will reach more people if they don't view the forum. Interesting to hear people want more coaches, yet when they are arranged people don't support it ... like gaps on the Salisbury coach even when it was free, or people telling Polo they want a space, then not showing up and leaving him wondering why he bothers.

And all the more credit to Dean for persevering. I bet there were loads of suggestions in those surveys with the expectancy that someone else will carry them out.
Keep up the good work Dean. I might not be a coach traveller but appreciate the hard work you put in.
I wasn't suggesting for a moment Dean gives up, I praised his efforts last season. But he needs people to support him, by paying their money when they say they will etc. And using the coaches, especially when free.

'wonder why he bothers' was your comment however I agree that it's strange that lots of people want coaches but only 20 or so sign up.
