Conference ODT test to blame, then it mentions the Conference asking for the bond because they weren't convinced the money was there. Strikes me they are convenient to blame because you have been a naive chump and taken for a ride Mr Winter whilst they had their doubts.
Previous Chairman is to blame because he wont help the legal challenge. Right person, wrong reason. This guy either didn't care much that he was spending too much money they didn't have or if he did he is just glad to be out of the mess and doesn't want the hassle. Either way, does not say much for that regime.
Either sort your sh*t or crawl off to a corner and expire. I bet none of them were too shy in taking credit when it was going well, now take the responsibility now it isn't.

There's also a lot of stuff that happens behind the scenes that is out of order. I read this weekend about Charlie Sheringham getting offered good money to play at Salisbury so Dartford lost out on getting him back - they couldn't match the money. Salisbury never even paid him in the end. Clubs offering great deals without the means to pay is unfair to the player and rival clubs. Not that I like Sheringham or Dartford!

Which probably should also be a salutory lesson to the players as well about really chasing the cash...
