I fancy Barnet as Martin Allen is no fool and knows what he is doing at this level. Also Forest Green have the resources and a certain manager who also knows what he is doing. Any other thoughts?
Well in my eyes the 2 to watch out for are Bristol Rovers and Wrexham after 94 years in the football league Bristol Rovers only get relegated on goal difference and have made the good addition of Jamie White and to me there the team to beat this season. Wrexham are always a sleeping giant in my eyes and for some reason I really think there going to have a good season and be 2nd to Bristol Rovers.
On paper it looks like Bristol Rovers should win. They've got a good set of individual players but it's a matter of whether they gel in time.
Some clubs seem to be really going for promotion in an 'all or nothing' mindset with some of the 'big' signings that have been made. Barnet have just signed Lee Cook from Leyton Orient. He was playing for Fulham in the Premiership just a few years ago! Looks like these clubs haven't learnt the lesson of Hereford's and Salisbury's kamikaze finances. I feel that yet again this year, who goes down and who stays up will be settled after the final game, and Conference officials will again be scratching their heads and pondering "How did that happen!?"
Tommorow night at 7.30pm on bt sport they have a hour show reviewing this upcoming season in the Conference could be fun to see how they rate our chances lol.

Early days but I think Barnet, Eastleigh and Gateshead have already shown they will be in contention. Teams relegated from the Football League rarely go straight back up these days and I don't think Bristol Rovers will change that.
I think this year will be a close run thing full of twists and turns. There are those clubs with wealthy owners, those with exceptional managers, those who's players are full time, those with a huge fan base, those that will have boardroom disputes and those that may get on the wrong side of HMRC.
In my humble opinion, if we don't win the title then my gut feeling is that it may be a team that finishes above us, but even then I could be wrong.
Bristol Rovers are perhaps the biggest club to fall out of the league in recent times. They should go back up with points to spare. Large crowds, league set up, building new ground. This is what we have to compete with!

Don't be too sure about their new ground they seem to be having some problems with it. Something to do with Sainsbury and the UWE according to the BR forum.
