I watched Chester v Wrexham on BT Sport, and although the result went Chester's way, for the first 45 minutes Wrexham absolutely battered them. A complete mis-match. Might have been a one off, but given we were the better side away to Wrexham, I would be hopeful that if we perform tomorrow we'll get a point or three.
Well the Chester live texts say there aren't many chances, and most have been from outside the box, but we have missed two sitters and from 30 to 45 minutes we were dominating without creating much.
Nice to see that we are now picking points up away from home. Well done Jamie and all the squad! Let's Put on a good performance against Kiddy/Hereford.
I thought that Chester started the stronger, but as soon as they scored their lucky goal, both teams struggled to get going. A lot of high balls in the first half and both keepers were not tested. As great as Harry is (voted MOM by Chester sponsor), I thought Fyfield was excellent and got my man of the match. A player that reads the game extremely well.
Strange stats in the NLP. The have corners as Chester 9 Welling 5. I counted Chester 0 Welling 3. They have offsides Chester 5 Welling 7 whereas my count was Chester 2 Welling 1.
What is interesting from someone who wasnt there is the difference in opinion among several supporters I have spoken to or have read reports
Some say we were awful at times and deserved very little...others are saying (including Jamie) that we deserved a point and probably more....I guess it is all about opinions
For me...sitting there watching the scores...the shock of seeing an equaliser go in at 93 mins made my Saturday!!
Thought a few players had off days but overall we deserved a point, Chester were poor and offered very little. We have played better and come away with nothing

If we hadn't thrown one in and therefore needed to score that game would have probably had 0-0 all over it. The view from on the pitch appears to have been somewhat different although I suspect only Henly and Marsh will remember it longer than the coach journey home.
Went from being a downright annoying 90 minutes to non-descript courtesy of Mr Marsh in the 93rd, which is the best I can say for it.

I have watched the same games as you Mr X but often thought I must have been watching a different game....
FWIW we definitely deserved a point and, had we played to anything like our potential, it could and probably would have been three. The goal we conceded was soft beyond words but outside of one cross shot and one wild header I didn't think Chester did anything. Bush and Fyfield did well but they weren't up against very much. Having said that we created next to nothing ourselves and Harry was marked out of the game - quite how he got motm is anyone's guess. But credit to our lads for keeping going and grinding out a deserved point. We will have to play better on Wednesday to get anything
