 He's right though!

A winnable tie for both sides but at least we know the pitch will be ok and we can pass the ball on it as opposed to Brislington last season.

Should be a decent crowd in too.

All teams are capable of beating the opposition in any match but why single out Maidstone have a winnable tie against Welling?

Good draw. Should be a decent attendance which we get half of, gives many of our fans who cant travel up and down the country to see us away the chance to get a away game in so hopefully a decent following for us. And a decent pitch which we cant complain about as the lads have the facilities to train on same surface at our training ground. Of course they will be well up for it but if we play like we have in recent games i think it will be a good day for the wings. #coyw

I don't think saying where someone comes from can be. It is a bit like saying we are Kentish men playing men of Kent and that we should not mention Kent!!

It's racist because the person's ethnicity was used to describe them in a negative manner. He'd be a **** no matter where he was from.

He didn't say where he was from. That would have been "Dublin ****" or whatever, which would probably have been more acceptable (but unnecessary). He used the bloke's ethnicity insultingly.  As for the comparison to Man of Kent, that makes sense at all.  You can describe yourself as a Kentish **** whenever you want.  Kent is not a country with its own language etc.

He didn't use his ethnicity, he used his nationality, big difference.

Once one side sets their stall out on an issue like this, they're never going to waiver. Pointless.

If you must have a never-ending argument about politically correct semantics can you do it over PM? Let's stick to football on here.

If it's "racist" then I have been racially abused almost daily for the last 18 years.
