If you count the retrospective red card for Bush in the Kiddy game that is FIVE RED CARDSin the last three league away games!
As Russ says it comes from the top. How can the manager berate/challenge the culprits with a straight face after his antics in the past?! Also the assistant manager has had to leave the dugout early a few times over the last few seasons. I called Gallagher's red last night about ten minutes before it happened - if I could see his frustration then surely the coaching staff could see it as well....? To be frank I thought it was a straight red when I first saw it so a second yellow and a shorter ban might have been a bit lucky for us. Bush has got away with a few "challenges" in the past but that last night was just senseless. A glimmer of hope after a late goal extinguished by that fool raising his hands and getting sent off leaving us two down and incapable of getting the ball for the last few minutes. Assuming that counts as a second red card then that will be a four game ban for him now...marvellous! We have a small squad anyway and limited resources compared to most in this division so to keep shooting ourselves in the foot every week beggars belief!
I am not sure what the fine system is at PVR for yellow/red cards but we should be able to build a new stadium on the proceeds this season.
Spot on, Wingnut. Before the match we also had four players on four yellow cards - three defenders (including Chris Bush) and, I think, Joe Healy. People were speculating earlier about the possible addition of a striker - at this rate we will need a few defenders too but, with the prospect of League/FA fines, we will not be able to afford them. Also, as somebody pointed out in the striker thread, we may have shed players to meet a budget cut. If that is true, fines for poor discipline will aggravate the situation. I wonder whether our two England C internationals will move on too? Jamie has performed miracles on a tight budget, but, if this trend continues we will soon have a firm date with Connie South.
Gallagher's 2nd yellow was a silly tackle to make. But sendings off with a ball winning midfielder are likely to happen over the course of a season so i'm not overly concerned. My big concern is that other red cards this year have been for stamping (twice) and an awful high tackle. This is on top of Bush's ban in the Kidderminster game for elbowing someone. 2 violent offences for Bush for stamping and elbowing, both needless, and both at times in matches where we were in with a shout of getting a result. I think he's a very good player but he can't be a very good player when he's now sitting in the stands for what will probably be a 4 game ban.

Jake should know better. It might be an occupational hazard for a midfielder but it happens too often in his case.
If Bush gets the predicted four game ban he will next be available for Bristol Rovers at home on 6th December by which time we will have played exactly half our league fixtures and he will have missed 6 of them through suspension (plus one very important FA Cup tie) We should fine him the maximum we can and, if the FA comes calling about our disciplinary record, then he can contribute towards that as well.
Only team in the top six tiers to have collected over 400 disciplinary points already this season.
Between playing a man short and missing key players through suspension, how many points in the Conference table might that indiscipline have cost Welling?
I would say the games at Bristol Rovers and D******* probably nothing to be honest.
Let's say, for arguments sake that, of those first five games, we ended up winning two, drawing one and losing two rather than losing all five as was the case - that's an extra seven points that would be quite handy right now.....
It could also be argued that we might have done better in other games as well on account of having less suspensions and more players available to pick from.
