Look....I rate Daisy as all of us do but to hear the comments....'we need to score more goals' is hard to take really

It is down pure and simple to not having strikers

We did have TSS, Tyrone etc but now we have no one.....it has to be JD that sorts that....KSA needs to go and we need a couple of young hungry loan players right now!!

We're woefully weak up front.

We don't seem to get so much for our money (budget) all of a sudden. Maybe the budget has been cut I don't know (obviously there were ground improvements to make). I can't believe there weren't players (at a lower level if necessary) who could have done a better job than some of this season's incumbents.

Not sure summer recruitment was the best. Likes of Franks, Lafayette and even Bergqvist, Dyer not adequately replaced. We seem to be the real poor relations of Kent senior football but crowd size a factor in that i suppose. That's not to say the  commercial work isn't excellent because it is.

We're having to live within our means and rightly so but without an upturn in fortune or some better players we could be in deep trouble. It's a shame that we've gone backwards from the Championship winning season and two thirds of last season. I commend the effort from a lot of the players but without more quality it's going to be a struggle. Away form is a particular problem.

Let's hope for some improvement soon particularly with regard to our shocking disciplinary record.

I think he spoke a lot of sense and you can hear the frustration in his voice. We are not the lowest scorers in the league by some distance but without Harry's contribution we would be royally f***** but we can't expect him to score every week. The point that came across more for me was the lack of desire to get in the box, make a chance, score a goal etc...etc...as Daisy said we are getting plaudits for our play but plaudits don't win matches and that has to change sooner rather than later. I would settle for a couple of average performances but defend properly, keep 11 on the pitch, create some more chances and then we may just pick up some wins!

From what I have seen this season we are certainly not amongst the four worst teams in this division but the table doesn't lie and we need a reaction starting on Saturday.

Up the Wings!

I agree we are a bit short up front, Another factor is if you don't shoot you wont score.

Apart from the goal and KSA's first half shot I can't recall many players shooting last night. Just a lot of passing around the 18 yard box, not just my frustration but a few around me yesterday.

If this is because players trying to find an opening Ok i can understand that but if the opponent has around 7 players in the 18 yard box then why not have a go. With the amount of deflected goals where teams defend in this manner its worth a chance and as it was the goal took a deflection which in a way proves a point.

I don't know what people expect him to say. He can hardly start letting rip at individual players in interviews, he has to strike a balance or he will lose the players and until you get someone better you need to keep them motivated.

That said I have little doubt that within the confines of a dressing room he is not afraid to dig people out if needed.

I'm sure if it was easy and cheap Jamie would have a decent striker signed by now. It might be worth pushing Joe Healy up top. Disapline wise I don't see us bing a particularly dirty side. ( Bush & JT incidents aside) So why all the cards?

Some of the low quality referees now look at the record and then look to book etc. Do Welling players get more harshly treated than some other clubs...well yes, I think they do!

However, if you have got Daisy's record of moaning at refs and retribution tackles you can hardly complain if they have made note and are less tolerant...

Oh yes I can!! Referees need to be objective in their decision-making...not objectionable!

We need the home crowd to put pressure on the referees too...in fact we need the home crowd to make a bit more noise.

Feel free to be disappointed as well then...

You can't honestly believe that surely. You should look more at the manager and how he leads by example in the discipline stakes. Don't blame anyone but your own players they know what they should and shouldn't do. It's no one's fault but your own players so accept that and stop complaining about a conspiracy that don't exist. Grow up.

Classic case yesterday of ref booking Welling player and not booking Macclesfield player for kicking the ball away, as for the Macclesfield players assault on Baselle in the first half just getting a yellow card, if that had been Chris Bush or Jake Gallagher committing that offence it would have been a red card.
