There are lots of frustrating elements to being in this league including long away trips and referees/The FA that seem biased towards the bigger clubs but this is why it's good to be in this league- taking on the big guns at PVR and raising our game.
Lets all get right behind the team today and be their 12th man (because no doubt the ref will be there's)

Fyfield could have nicked it at the end as well! Great performance all-round but thought Corne and Fagan had a great game in the middle of the park together. COYW
Putting that result into perspective, they were a league team last season who only just got relegated on the last day of the season. Their budget must be leagues ahead of ours too. A great achievement for a club like us, especially as we even had a couple of chances to win it.
Thought we were fantastic today when you consider we were down to the bare bones. Actually a really enjoyable game despite no goals.
Only thing that concerned me was that we were still chasing the win at the end which is commendable but at that stage we risked losing a hard earned point. A very minor criticism though and well done to everyone who was out there today.
Yes a good point against the mighty BBB Bristol Rovers. Heard a few of them moaning about the stand the pitch the floodlights blah blah blah. They had better get used to it because what I saw today they are going to be non league for a while. Well done to the squad and coaching team all round. Fantastic save by Buchel from their free kick second half. Sam Corne take s how. Barney Williams too.

Enjoyable game, but for two quality saves from their goal keeper in the first half, the result may have been different, credit to the team a good point against a team at the top end of the league. Well done
Ah, the keeper they got in on an emergency loan despite having three listed on the back of the programme, one of whom was fit to play. Age is irrelevant: if he's deemed good enough for a squad number then he's good enough to play. Something WUFC should have been pointing out to the relevant authorities this week.
After today's result they'll presumably call in another 10 emergency loans to cover the outfield positions.
Pride. Passion. Heart. Fight. We showed all of this and more yesterday against a decent Bristol Rovers side who were backed by a loud support and a referee who gave them everything. Williams, Buchel, Corne and Fagan particularly impressed as did Jamal Fyfield who could have won it for us at the end. If we show that fighting spirit every week then we'll have no problems.

After not having a goalkeeper on the bench in midweek, Darrell Clarke said he wouldn't do that again yet yesterday they had no substitute goalkeeper!
I guess that puts his "We dominated the game" comment yesterday into perspective.
Maybe he is still struggling to come to terms with throwing away a 13 point lead when manager of Salisbury!!
On a different point, apart from admission money did we make any additional funds from the 600 plus travelling fans? We must cash in with retail / refreshment opportunities when a match ends up segregated.

Would we have made a penny if it hadn't been segregated?

An excellent hardworking effort from all - a game of few chances and a couple of decent saves from both keepers.
All our young lads did well again - Barney Williams, Sam Corne and Zach Fagan (who looks a very good player to me whether in midfield or defence)
One player that doesn't seen to get mentioned a lot is young Michael Chambers on loan from Palace - he has been a big part of the recent revival and is unlucky not to be picking up any of these motm awards in recent weeks.
Good turnout from Bristol but, taking into account the budget and resources at their disposal, I would have been very disappointed with their display on Saturday if I were a fan of theirs. I have seen three or four teams at PVR this season who were a lot better than them.
Hope the injury to young Penny is not too serious as we certainly missed his running and goal threat on Saturday.
