I'd prefer our new manager to have coaching and managerial experience if its all the same, as lovely a bloke as Lee is.
I'm afraid with our budget the only experienced managers we're going to get are ones with bad managerial experience.
I'm believe we'll only be able to get relative newbie in as a player/manager and cross our fingers that we somehow miraculously get someone like Jamie (very slim chance I know).
I don't know if it would be worth giving Loui Fazakerly the caretaker job considering he's got his own football coaching company, I'm assuming he may have the relevant coaching qualifications. Plus he knows the club inside out and has a good rapport with the team (I assume).
I don't want some has been so called experienced Manager, for this job you want someone who knows the club inside out or a name player looking for their 1st job. Martin O'Neal and Clough Jr started below this level and they have done okay. A calibre of person similar to one of these men is who Welling should be looking for and not some has been We need someone who is hungry and who has the top level experience so they can develop young players.
Young manager looking to make it.....thats why I go for Jack P or the lad from Dulwich.....lets see.....who will be caretaker...as someone said probably someone like Warrilow for2 or 3 weeks
For caretaker manager - Faz, Jamie Turner, Joe Healy and, how about Stacey Beckham (is he stlll with us?) For manager Gavin Rose at Dulwich, Jack Parkinson, Faz, Ben Martin with Lee Clarke, the current caretaker manager at £bbsfl££t or how about Sweeney at Dartford? (tee hee).

Is it just pluck ex players out of a hat and pick them day?!?!?!
The current caretaker at £bsfl££t is probably on a bigger screw than their new manager so you can rule him out for a kick off.
Parky might well go down the managerial road one day but I think he needs to learn his trade elsewhere before he gets a position at this level.
Im not talking about full term, as the topic says "caretaker manager"...we need someone in for saturday and what is the point of getting someone in who does not know barney williams from sam corne!!! JT and faz know everything about the club.

Stacey is indeed still there , having just become a dad i'm sure the club wont lose out on him as well when he returns
For permanent manager, Maidstone's Nicky Southall assisted by either Jamie Coyle or Jack Parkinson or some involvement for Tommy Warrilow and Danny Kedwell - just speculating.
Lets be realistic...why would southall leave a club with a decent set up and money to come to us. Mark stimson anyone??? Anyone but parkinson in my opinion.

Err, he is assistant manager at a Ryman Premier club and would become manager at a Conference Premier club? Why have some people got a downer on Jack Parkinson? Not only is he a good footballer he is also a qualified coach ( I think he may have both badges and is one of the youngest, if not the youngest, to qualify). He coaches Maidstone's very successful youth set-up and, I think, a trophy-winning, schools' representative side.

Because we need experience and coaching 17year olds is not that.
We are in a different position now..parkinson has barely even played this level!!! And having spoke to people in the past i dont think his attitude is that of what we need for a relegation battle. Experience is key right now.
Talking a good game - do you refer to thinking that Maidenhead manager Johnson Hippolyte/Hypocrite is a muppet. Other than that I'm out. Get Acworth in, would do wonders for morale.
However, I hear on the grapevine, having been at the ground last night, it'll be Healy and JT in caretaker charge for Saturday ... and we're already interviewing for a permanent replacement.
On a positive note, with money coming in from Beautyman and compo from the management team, plus Day's wages off the payroll, and those of Marsh come January, and several others only on loan until January, a new manager would have money to work with ... might mean wholesale changes come January mind.

My two pence worth, why did Jamie go Money .....What would stop anyone taking over Money ......Didn't we have the opportunity of that Kuwaiti businessman buying the club a few years ago, did we miss the boat on that one ?.
Is the club actively looking for outside investment ? or are we always going to be this poor old Welling with Crumbling stands, and no budget ?
We need new money the next manger cant rely on BTB to build his or her squad ...being PC there....
As I mentioned on another thread, getting Target 1000 or whatever you want to call it, off the ground is critical for these issues to stop reoccurring on a continual basis. More people through the gate is the only way. We cannot rely on Barrie to do that given he hasn't over the last 6-18 months and being of pensionable age probably has no desire to take on additional work if it is at all avoidable.

For me it has to be Matt Mein & Gavin Sutton ...
As I touched upon in a previous post not everything is as it seems with Ebbsfleets owner. The BBC Non-League Football Show interviewed him when there were contradictions in his application for his purchase of Ebsfleet. On his application he said he was a football agent. Then when questioned on this he first said he was, then said he wasn't, then said he was...
Then he couldn't explain where the money for the purchase was coming from...
He was bounced back by a few clubs including us and Charlton Athletic due to question marks over his finances. The only reason Ebbsfleet sold to him was because they were desperate.
There is a significant risk of Ebbsfleet going the same way as Salisbury FC with the attitude of their board being akin to someone who has just jumped off the Shard and halfway down, looking at the floor, and saying to themselves "well okay so far..."
I just hope for Jamie and his management teams sake that they've moved on before the brown stuff hits the fan.
