Aldershot's Matt Gray on yesterday's game......

"We dominated for large periods, they've scored goals against the run of play and we've had numerous chances to get back into the game. It was certainly a frustrating afternoon."

Stats show 50/50 possession

"I think we had double the amount of chances they had but they managed to take them and fair play."

I think he had double the amount of free red wines. 5 shots each on target but if he's counting the ones that hit the trees in Danson Park then fair play.

"There are still positives to take out of that, the lads are still together and you can see the mood of the players. I don't think there's a lot of criticism to be had."

Priceless - you lost to 'little' Welling (as your fans kept reminding us)

Where do these stats come from? I can remember their keeper making at least two saves in each half, which suggests two of our goals weren't on target

In the NLP, there were loads of errors starting with the descriptions of the first two goals!

Stoddy, these stats seem to tie up with those shown on the BBC report?

Misinformation like this is what you pay your licence fee for, I guess. Just a quick glance down to the commentary at 83.54 proves their stats wrong!

Yes,  I have always wondered why they bother having the corner column on the stats section on BBC as it always shows 0-0 for corners.  (For conference matches anyway).
