Hes got to be one of the fancied ones for that job, especially with Barry Ashby being a Gillingham legend. I would imagine Daisy might have a clause in his contract about higher teams coming in for him allowing him to better himself.

If he had stayed at Welling then yes I would have imagined that he would have been a very good candidate for the job with Barry, there was talk of him going before Taylor got the job. But with the move to Gravesend and the start he has had I dont think they will now look at him. If only he had stayed, hindsight is a brilliant thing.
Jamie is in the betting lists to take over at Gillingham from Webbsfleet...

I can't see him leaving Ebbsfleet so soon after going there and wonder if Gillingham would have the foresight to take him on.
For those criticizing his start, Rome wasn't built in a day and 2 wins and 2 losses is not a surprise at this level. Think Dennis Wise would be a really poor decision. Surpsrised at some of the names Daysy is behind in the odds.
He left our club and tried to rip the guts of it got no respect for him anymore when he knows how small our squad is and how desperately we needed some of the guys like Marsh he could of been a legend shame he ruined it all.

Oxford wanted to be rid of Marsh and we could never have afforded him. JT is a mate of his and played in their thrashing at home to Basingstoke while we already had two keepers.
Anything about him coming in for anyone else is hear-say so I cannot comment.
In five years, he took Welling from the wrong end of the Conference South to a second season in the Premier playing good football on a non competitive budget and low crowds.
I didn't like his behaviour in the Trophy replay but one horrible night cannot wipe out what he achieved in five years.
He is Welling history now. We have a new management team that we all need to support.
The transfer window is open. Have we signed anyone yet?

Oh well.
Think he would have been the strong favourite and probably reflecting upon a missed opportunity in his own backyard. As for his impact at Ebbsfleet...he has some dead wood to clear...do not assume that all is rosy there!
Daisy left the club but he is not yo blame for trying to take our players...blame those who put no clause in place to stop it.He wouldnt be doing his job if he didnt try and get the best players.Money doesnt buy sucess, non league is littered with the remnants of clubs thinking it a quick fix.
