Interesting to hear that he's approached 3-4 players on the 7 day rule, non contract players and players with no clubs at the moment. Will these players be up to Conference Premier standards or are we going to get journeymen in just to bolster the squad? Would be nice to see some new faces for the FGR game but realistically it's going to be the 17th against Alfreton.

He'll probably go after players he knows he can get in easily and can do a job for him at the moment. It's the manpower he has to see to first.
It's clever appointment really.
Clearly, Jody knows the lower leagues and has coached at places like Norwich.
His number two was still playing at a high level up until recently and can has built up contacts that way.
For that reason, I'm excited and optimistic about the second half of the month.
Yes, quite right Sherpa.
Once he has got a few bodies in it will help massively, and until two weeks ago we haven't exactly been doing badly. It's only the freak run of games and no training that have messed it up given small squad and restrictions on bringing people in.
I'm guessing we'll see two up front from 17th January as well which should mean we'll score more goals. If we can keep the defence solid as it has been most of the season we'll be more than ok.
Well Rod Young will be back as he said which will be an extra player. Rod hasn't set the world alight at Bishop's Stortford but he was part of the Norwich side that won the FA Youth Cup in 2013 so he must have it in him, and maybe, knowing him, Jody can bring that out.
Remember how Lee Clarke was on his way out the door before Daysy arrived and he got him playing. Maybe that can happen. For whatever reason Daysy didn't think he was what we needed but an arm round the shoulder and the right words could get him off and running.
