Agreed. People aren't perfect and I'm sure the manager would admit he might have done thingame differently with hindsight, but a manager cannot be blamed for individual errors and poor decision making.
Winners dont like losing and therefore are miserable 30minutes after a game. I'd be exactly the same.
There is only so much a manager can do. The players must take responsibility as well.
We arent getting ripped apart, they are silly individual errors and indisciple, red cards and pens.
Cut them out and bring back Jeffrey and Barney and we're looking good.
No matter what, supporters must support and be positive. Win versus Nuneaton and its looking positive. Let's not let the forum be all doom and gloom in the 13 days before then.
Yeah I know....?we are scoring....it is the other end...get the lad in from Sheffield and lets see.....miserable yes...I would rather see some real anger or as I say passion but I guess thats not his way
I'm sure the anger was displayed dressing room, which is the right place!! You probably wouldn't be surprised at what goes on within dressing rooms. The best I saw was an ex-pro being held up against a wall by the manager, and then throwing a moody and refusing to play in the 2nd half. As you can imagine he never played for that unnamed club again. I don't think it would have been productive for the club if Jody had said more. If he had a done, they'd be silly rumours like losing the dressing room.
As Kevin said, we need to try and be a bit more positive on the forum and not give up already. There's still enough games to turn things around, especially when still outside the drop zone. 3 points at Nuneaton is obviously a must, with some tough games on the horizon.
Agree with what is being said but I think he could learn from yesterday. Unless you are doing a Sheffield United and putting together a three points at Christmas, safe by April sort of run, no one down the bottom is going to be full of confidence. Therefore when we come up against other teams in the proverbial with us we have to keep trying to impose ourselves on them rather than go on the back foot. I know it is't easy but if we can do that, there is a good chance they are going to crack first as we are playing some half decent stuff at times
It is a bit weird that our form is so bad yet we are improving in certain areas. Our first half performance yesterday was very good but just let down by errors. Can understand the frustration in the interview. Just got to hope other teams on bad runs will get worse and we continue to improve. Vose, 11 on the pitch, first half possession - all positives but just so hard to take when beaten again.

He can if the same people keep making the errors and he keeps picking them.
I can understand his frustrations and disappointment but, like others, I would like to hear/see/feel a bit more passion when he speaks.

I can assure you that he showed plenty of passion when he emerged from the tunnel for interviews at Macclesfield. He was livid but controlled himself once the questions started.

Fair point. I remember Daysie disappearing from Facebook as soon as he became a manager. Only a matter of time before something gets you in trouble, or you are making yourself a target for abuse etc.
