Surely we can total at least 5000 pairs of feet through the gates over the course of our last five home matches? (Target 1000 in mind?) We must all know from workplaces, clubs, pubs etc; of Premier and Championship supporters who after Friday nights international, will be kicking their heels on Saturday afternoon. So lets make sure when chatting they are aware of an 'attractive' fixture at PVR.
Appreciate that it was an early 'promotion' clash but I see from Barnet's programme that Grimsby brought 969 down for that fixture, and it was just a normal Saturday in February. Even if only half those also travel to PVR then there should be a good atmosphere and a good start toward that 5000. Spread the word!
Agreed Mark, I think that rather goes without saying. Of course the points are of prime importance, and maybe the more there the more chance of the points? To me the two matters run in tandem. COYW
Might get 1,000 tomorrow as I expect a good Grimsby following and possibly the Kidderminster game for Ladies Day. Can't see that many though for Eastleigh on Easter Monday and Wrexham on a Tuesday though. Home against Southport depends on what's riding on the game. Be great if we could but 3 out of 5 maximum 1,000 gates.
I'm very surprised that after all the hard work and effort to promote the Altrincham game that nothing has been done for this one. Considering there is no premiership or championship games.

other than moan.
5000 Flyers went out for Altrincham delivered by just the usual handful of loyal supportive fans and sponsors
I think Mr Commercial's rant emphasises just how much goes on behind the scenes that goes unrecognised. However, this is because the average supporter is not aware - club and individual efforts are not publicised.
Mr Commercial, my mobility prevents me from foot slogging the streets, but if no-one is already covering the Old Bexley Village area, although a bit late for this season, I will be happy to regularly visit the seven pubs and clubs there, with a view to getting the landlords to place a few flyers on their bars or walls in the days leading up to a home match? (although the Coach and Horses is heavily Millwall, I am still happy to ask!!)
