Apparently, his new club were in such a hurry to inform their fans of the new signing, that they posted a photo of Doug in his Kalmar FC shirt, but rather amateuristly photo-shopped it with big black stripes down the front, and then stuck the Club name across the front. They later posted another photo of him in their own strip. The photos were on line, so you may still be able to find them. It mentioned his spell with Exeter, although he never played in the first eleven, but only mentioned that he moved around the non-league scene before moving to Ostersund in Sweden
