TalkSPORT are scheduled to provide live updates from Boreham Wood. I assume this will include the game as well?

Sounds like two dodgy defensive errors.....back to normal after our little run...should be beating teams like this if we want to stay up

Definitely not a sparkling performance, although there have been some great saves from King (according to the squeaky Muppet).

2-0 final score. All in all it sounds to me like that hungry edge we saw in past seasions is missing.

Can't believe we are loosing to team's like this? Bromley is a bit more understandable but Boreham Wood? never been a fan of Osborne if I am brutally honest when I have seen him he never puts a shift in.I have seen James Fit chet play and was surprised he wasn't signed straight away when on trial. Is it perhaps time to introduce Archie Johnson and maybe put some youngsters like Catmull on the bench?
Tat is have got to change a bit for Lincoln and maybe some players. When I saw Fit chet he had good vision, can tackle and pass

I believe that the squad have a fitness level and skill level that's good enough for this division. Three seasons here make me believe this, the lads are good enough to compete at this level.

From the limited access I have to the games over here, what I'm hearing makes me think we are lacking some vision and crispness to our game. Obviously we are not scoring as many goals as we need to get the points...... is it a lack of finishing ability, or is the service to the front line missing?. In my humble opinion I think it's a bit of both.

According to the commentator, we made several good crosses into "dangerous" areas, only to see them fly out the back of the area uncontested by our strikers. In my mind it's only a dangerous cross if it is to an attacking player in an attacking position, maybe a look up before the cross would result in more accurate service?

We need improvement across the board, but I think it's just a razor's edge between where we are, and where we want to be.

The attitude has got to be more stand or die, every game is a cup game, not I hope I get 2 sugars at half time.we need more tough talking to motivate them on the pitch. If our strikers can't score then the midfield and fullbacks have to tke responsibility and pepper the box with cosset and shots, surely the team who lost against Bromley should have put in a do or die performance and not allowed a park team to win 2 0

Defense: 15/24 clubs have conceded more goals than us. Three of the clubs above us have a higher negative GD, so we're not doing too bad there, could be a little better.

Attack: 18/24 clubs have scored more than us. Definitely need more chances and a higher conversion rate.

HOWEVER, the 6 clubs immediately above us are within 3 points, and 6 points takes us into the top 10......that's how close we are!

At the moment! but if we don't beat a very average Lincoln at home then there is definitely something amiss.

Kabba really struggles playing up front on his own. With Porter out I'd really like to see a change in formation to 4-3-1-2 with Wellard behind Kabba and Harris.

It saddens me seeing these types of comments after the 4 game run recently having ended. We will lose some games and play terribly in them. Thats the nature of football. I don't feel we need to start thinking its all over because we lost to a good Bromley side and then losing today. We are still out of the bottom four and from what I have seen this season, we can and do hold our own and will win enough games to keep us safe.

Keep the faith.

Yes I agree but I think we all hope that we stay up quite a bit more comfortably than last season not least so that we can build a better base for next season.

Another option for the management team is to go with Harris as a lone striker, where he played quite well for a spell last season with Semedo on the Left and possibly Kabba rather than Vidal on the right.

yes last season Harris looked very useful up front and scored a great goal v Chester. Playing a small striker up front on their own is not going to get the ball in the net much, particularly when they have no support. Perhaps Healey back on Loan?

someone else spoke of fitness and I think second half against Bromley the whole team looked knackered, having said that we should not be loosing to Boreham Wood. We all have high expectations of what could be achieved and the management should hopefully look for a mid table position as a benchmark of a successful season. Hanging around the bottom 4 means we are waiting for the inevitable drop but' fighting in every game' I believe will give us the chance of moving ever further away from that and then give us something to build on. We should not be settling all the time for 'at least we avoided relegation mentality' years ago Wimbledon got themselves up and they did'nt have money either. we should really be thinking of a several season plan with some investment to Help Barry get us to League 2-some on here may think I am nuts by saying this (and of course we dont want to go bust like others) but thats got to be the ambition and then we can keep and bring in players but only if we get that mid-table position that could be a spring board for next season.

Are you mad?

Healy is playing well at Maidstone so we couldn't get him back on loan. He could only do one training session per week instead of the 3 the other players do.

Before we lost yesterday we had won 4 in a row, and a win yesterday would have put us 15th, 8 points clear of relegation. Yesterday's performance was poor, but it's very doom ang gloom on here after 1 loss.

As for league 2, the budget we have is one of the lowest in the league, while I believe that this team could finish mid table, suggesting that we could challenge teams with budgets 4, 5 or even 6 times ours is madness.

I would doubt that either Bromley or Dover have a budget 4 or 5 times higher than ours although clearly higher. I'm not going to suggest that we spend money we don't have but as Wellingking suggests there is no reason why the club cannot look for some outside investment in order to strive for League football.
