I agree. The fact Charlton (Kent?!?) take part in it shows how ridiculous it is.

Nothing more than a distraction.

Good that this pointless competition is out of the way for another season. Now on to the important game on Sunday.

Sad as I am I popped along to this game last night!

It was men against boys (quite literally) for most of the game and D******* deserved at least a two goal win. They didn't have a full strength team out themselves but all of them have played Conference South football and are all first team squad regulars as far as I am aware (including a certain Andy Pugh who played the full ninety but didn't score)

However it was good experience for our lads, Barney got a good 70 minutes under his belt in preparation for the weekend. I quite liked the look of the lad Cumberbatch in midfield - played some nice passes and took his goal very nicely.

As others have said we have bigger fish to fry but it is never nice losing to D*******!
