£15 says our website. Are replays not supposed to be the same price as the reverse fixture, or did I imagine that?

You imagined it! Grays admission price was £10 but it was put up to £12 for Sunday's match.

Perfect hattrick incidentally - left foot, header, right foot. And then another for good measure

What a difference from Sunday, our Management team obviously worked things out well with the team. The Grays number 9, who looked unplayable on Sunday, hardly got a decent kick. we were prepared to knock it about short and wait for an opening, rather than humping it up field in hope. And as for Vidal, well worth the man of the match with our keeper a close second for saving their dubious penalty. Great match well done to all.

A very enjoyable game. Bakare added a different dimension with two very good assists, and Xav took all his goals extremely well.

I thought Mike had a great game in goal, the defence kept possession well (I wish our fans would get off their backs for this) Corney was superb. Looking forward to 'our year for a cup run!'

Mike McEntegart kept us in the National League last season and in the FA Cup this season. Xavi was the "unplayable" one in last night's match.  The game turned on three incidents, the introduction of Michael Bakare who scared the sh*t out of their defence,  Mac's penalty save and Ben's superb block. While we eventually played the game on the deck to great effect, there was a fair bit of aimless hoofing in the first half.

If George Porter is fit on Saturday, play him.  Rest Xavi and Ben Jefford and recall our loanees.

I am one of the first to criticise so let's dish out some credit for a change!

Mcentegart, aside from the penalty save, had a good night. His handling was good in stark contrast to the bloke at the other end. The two centre halves kept their dangerous centre forward quiet and the two full backs did well especially Jefford for the block after the penalty. Nice to see Fagan back in the team and playing in probably his best position in front of the back four - nothing special but has some presence in there and just hope the knock at the end is nothing serious. Corne was as industrious as ever and I hope we can keep hold of him as the season unfolds...

Vidal will obviously claim the headlines and rightly so. Still think the number 10 role would suit him best but I hope his shooting prowess means that we will abandon once and for all the option of playing him centrally in a 4-4-2 and/or in the "quarterback" role which is an even bigger waste of his abilities.

I would like to give Bakare a special mention as well. He is clearly lacking a bit of match fitness and sharpness but he added presence to the forward line and his movement was intelligent throughout. With Porter injured he is comfortably the next best forward option that we currently have at the club.

Well done for whoever change the half time refreshments as well. First half had the feeling of a testimonial at times rather than an important cup tie but we came out and attacked with pace rather than sit on our lead and thoroughly deserves the comprehensive win in the end.

On to Barwell...up the Wings!

Probably the best performance of the season so far. Well done each and everyone of you.

Fagan did a great job for us in the holding role. Lets hope his injury is not too bad.

Bakare looks a great signing and he just needs to find his fitness. Lets hope we can tie him down to a longer term deal.

With fringe players coming in to the side and making an impact, new signings and loan players returning we now have genuine competition for places. Time for some to up their performance levels.

Also good news that Guiesley played 120 mins against their rivals Halifax last night. Lets all forget about the FA Cup for a few days and concentrate on an important 3 points at Guiesley.

COYW!

Great result, goodish performance. A job well done in the end. Game hinged on the penalty save, if it goes in = difficult second half.

The second goal seemed to give us a lot more confidence and we really got the ball down and played them off the park.

Really want to know what instructions our defenders are given at the start of a game as hoof ball to a 5ft forward does not work. This is happening too often and needs addressing.

I heard at the Dartford match (KSC) that whilst training regularly with us, Bakare, Cumberbatch and the goalkeeper ( who has never been seen) were only signed on for that match and on a match by match basis thereafter. I hope I misheard because Bakare looked good when he came on last night and would definitely be a permanent asset to the squad. Lets hope he has been signed on for the longer term.

fantastic game of football hand everything! Bakare up front a different class-he would worry sides in our league, can he be made permanent?

credit has to be given to Grays  who made a go of it even when 4 down. Penalty was a bit de ja vu and will we never learn how to concentrate after half time? Vidal played better and without the loanees avaliable some of our regulars played with a great deal more confidence. I did think we had the smallest player but I am sure their number 7 ran Kabba close. Well done Wings and lets keep up a more positive approach in future when we committ more players forward our attacks dont break down so easily.

I could n't agree more Wellingking which is why I believe it was our best performance of the season. Let's hope we keep this up.

All three have been training with Welling for a while and have been registered with the club. I should imagine they will be retained while the cup run lasts, What happens after that will probably depend on the budget.

Doesn't signed mean signed for the rest of the season rather than signed for a game.....and then another game....... ???
