Funny that, I have been thinking the same about Millwall. Knowing our luck it will be Bury or Carlisle away. However, even that would be better than drawing Whitehawk, Salford or FC United. So, Stourbridge away it is then or a home draw against Eastleigh. My preference would be Sheffield United at home.
I just hope whoever we get, its a home draw. A FA cup run is a perfect opportunity to advertise and drum up interest in the local area. Away draws are good fun but would be nice to have a home draw.
Aside from that, Salford at home would be good, a winnable tie (you would hope) and a lot of media attention attached to it. Then hopefully a huge club in the 3rd round!
We are ball number 23. Depending on how they tip the balls in the container and shuffle it, I reckon we will draw either one of the five numbers lower than us or one of the five numbers higher than us. Or it is just the luck of the draw - "luck" which has very rarely given us a home tie against League opposition.
For the First Round draw the BBC had representatives from FCM, Salford and Worcester. Worcester got a day out at Bramall Lane. FCM and Salford got enticing home ties that were chosen to be shown live on TV. Is it too late to send somebody up there?
