Congratulations to Billy Thurston who has been selected for the Kent Youth League Under 18 Representative Squad’s match against Charlton on Wednesday 22 March at Chatham Town’s Maidstone Road ground. Billy will also be going on ‘tour’ with the squad at the end of May when they visit Holland to play 2 friendly matches.

Congratulations also to Max Clerk who is on the squad’s ‘standby’ list.

Commiserations to Toby Johnson, Bobby Folan, and Joe Courtney who also attended the ‘trials’ but were not selected.  I understand that they did very well but with the selectors having a pool of over 70 players to choose from there was always going to be a large number of players who were going to be disappointed
