Weather conditions in the Carlisle area are apparently not only abysmal but dangerous - red alert up there and the river Eden has flooded. Trains to London few and far between, no services between Carlisle and Preston and the motorways are deadly.  Keep safe, Carlisle fans and I hope everybody up there is ok.
