So we are now a point away from the drop zone, a worse situation than this time last season, we have to start taking points off teams higher in the league, as there are only a few below us now. Something has to be shaken up before it's too late. Not necessarily a change in management, just an acceptance that some players are not performing and the tactics and current approach is not working. Time for some imaginative thinking and sensible team selection.
Was I the only winner today? 2.40pm put coat on, turned computer on, 2.43pm saw teamlist on BBC website, 2.44pm having seen one name in the starting line up...coat off and back in chair! Unless something gives before the end of the year, I shall have seven concession rate "six pick" tickets, (why oh why did I buy 12 during that good run?) available to the best offer....proceeds to the Carlisle flood fund....nuff said?
Everyone's entitled to their opinion but I must have been watching a different game.
Even the stats show we had twice as many shots as Macclesfield. We seemed to have the majority of possession (although stats show 50/50).
Would the negative comments still be coming out if this was the performance under a new manager? It certainly seemed to be an improvement on games like Southport and Carlisle.
Ultimately the board will decide whether the management team stay or go but personally I think money needs to be spent on a striker not a new manager. Without a goal scorer, a new manager is not going to make a blind bit of difference and could even worsen the situation.
the lne up said it all. Pigheadedness from the the 3 amigos. kick and hope, no tactics, no width, no urgency from some players-not all, a half-hearted attempt to turn it around, no hope if Loui doesnt do the decent thing and stand down then we are finished. I keep seeing teams like this at PVR we are no threat to them and they know it. We need a manager to bring 2 or 3 dangerous players in who will make us look like the home team when we play at home and not a side of desperate Dans hoping for a lucky break. I repeat again please can the management team stand down hand in your resignations it is not working at all and give someone else a chance while we still have one
I still find it strange that you think it will cost a lot of money to change the management team.... you have no idea.
Starting KSA again..... then bringing on Tashan. Bakare showed more in the first minute of coming on than either of those 2. Harry Lee being taken off when he was having a very good game and was given man of the match by the sponsors. Totally clueless all round.
Do we work on set pieces in training?
We could stay with what we have and we will go down or we could change it, we still may go down but at least we've tried.

Yes. Seems you are.
A new manager would look for changes. The current three aren't.

I think you watch a different game most weeks.
It wasn't as bad a performance as we have turned in of late, but that's not saying much. What's annoying most of us is the team selection and bizarre substitutions - namely the inclusion of KSA from the start, bringing Tashan on as the first sub, taking Harry Lee (MOTM) off, and only bringing Bakare on in the final 10 minutes. Bakare provided more threat in the first minute than KSA did all game.
Vidal wasn't happy about not being involved against Carlisle and I feel that him now being dropped is down to "poor attitude". But when bizarre managerial decisions are the cause of said attitude, I can hardly blame him. He's infinitely more talented than some of the people being played ahead of him. How many times this season have we been behind, creating very little, and had nobody warming up to change things? It was the same again today.
To me we look like a team who have lost faith in the management. Even the workhorses like Porter and Harris look frustrated and probably wonder why they bother. A lot of us on the terraces are starting to feel likewise.

I think that's the point if we do nothing we are doomed, we have no real easy games now this is a relegation fight and I dont think the tactics or the management team are up to it. There is no inspiration this time around and without an astute manager and 2 or 3 loan players who can fight and shoot and put the opposition on the back foot we are stuffed. I cant see how they can beat Dover or anyone at present. I think Faz must accept its not working and they also must know that with the team not scoring or looking like it the chances o f any reprieve in the remaining games dont look likely. Last year we had some players who could score like Vose and Lafayette-today we have no one who can score. 10 shots to 5 on the stats means nothing, never did we look likely to score.
None of us know why players are dropped, just as none of us know what goes on on the training field and in the changing room.
It may be poor attitude, injury, sickness, it could be anything.
When we're near the relegation zone the management team are not going to risk their jobs by putting alleged "mates" ahead of the genuine best performers.

Could you please enlighten us as to what money this supposed new manager would make changes with, as you're clearly in the know regarding the clubs budget. Despite only joining the forum a few weeks ago and all your posts attacking the management and team.
Well its very clear that we need a change now which will give the new manager a chance to move some players on and bring better ones in. I was shocked that when KSA came off they put Adeyinka on who I cant see scoring at all. Surely some of those with faith in the management must now be wondering whether its better to cut our losses and bring in someone who is an experienced manager. We are playing Russian roulette with our status in the conference and time is running out to have a good run of games to ensure survival. Look at Southport they have got a good run together with a new manager we could do the same.

I haven't mentioned money once. But if there is no money then the man that has wasted it all and put muppets on contracts is to blame.
My recent comments all attack the management team. Yours all defend them. From the general consensus of other forum users I think the Faz Out campaign wins through at the moment.
Although I have only posted on this account for a short period of time I'm a former regular poster and haven't missed a home game in 12 years so I'd like to think I'm in fair place to comment. And yes, at the moment it's negative, and rightly so.
I have to say I see the need for a talented striker as more of a priority than changing the management. KSA is not a replacement for Rosco and never will be, whoever were to manage him, so should we try and improve the quality of the team, or the management, I doubt the club would do both. My vote is to get some more quality on the pitch.

If they are still in their jobs come the Dover game then lets see how they try to motivate the team. Will they listen or take advice as good or new manager should-doesnt look like it. Who mentors them in their current situation? KSA is clearly unfit and not a threat. Today Whittaker for Macclesfield was an example of he type of player we need in our team and Sampson too. They played intelligently knew their tactics and were on top of things at all times, I have said this before it is not just the 3 who need to go we need to bring in some new hungry players-who are determined to fight for their place and then we will stay up
The biggest indictment is probably that even if we went and got a sh*t hot new striker, on current evidence, there is no guarantee they would select him.....

The way it looks at the moment, we could have Messi on the books and Ip, Dip and Dogs**t would have him on the bench while starting KSA. So we're stuck with Messy till the three amigos see sense. Who cares what happens in training, he ain't good enough on Saturdays.

Comments regarding KSA being unfit - if he works in personal fitness then why? And if unfit why select him. Guilty verdicts for KSA and the management team. The problems are bigger than just KSA though.
Maybe in the next interview, if KSA is so clearly the answer, maybe they could at least have the good grace to tell us what the bar steward question is! It isnt his fault 3 managers have seen fit to contract or continue to contact him to the club. Whatever it is has warranted it, can one of you try and get him to produce it against better opposition than Ryman 1...
KSA is working his way back from a long injury lay off. With the absence of a suitable reserve team this really should have been done elsewhere on a loan spell. It's not as if we lack other options up front. Kabba not even on the bench today. Yet he will still pick up good money.
Putting KSA, Tash and Kabba all on contracts was madness and if any of those players have a shrewd of loyalty to the management then they should ring them tomorrow and offer to cancel their contracts in an attempt to save the trio their jobs.

No, 2 managers have offered him deals, the other wanted him sacked, which he was successful with before he himself was sacked and KSA drove back into the squad.

I have to say that up until today I have remained, just, in the "give the management team a chance" camp, but their continued insistence on playing someone who is either not good enough or not fit enough to make a meaningful contribution and then taking him off and replacing him with another who is only marginally better, while a far better striker remains sitting on the bench for a further 25 minutes has finally pushed me over to the "time for a change" group.
The transfer window opens in under a fortnight and the owners need to make a difficult decision quickly.
The poor results are down to a management team whose baffling line ups have cost us. How can Vidal go from a key player who scores goals to the bench? KSA is simply a joke, clearly unfit and poses no threat whatsoever. Kabba looked sharp and scored some goals at the start of the season but has now gone from first choice striker to staying at home on match days. Strange substitutions aswell. I thought Barney Williams was excellent yesterday and Harry Lee, the latter played so well he was taken off. Bizarre.
Harry Lee being subbed was very strange, unless he was injured. If Faz likes KSA then fine - his choice, but at least get him match fit first. Dev squad games, loan him out etc. Feel for Vidal and Kabba.
Harry Lee being subbed was very strange, unless he was injured.
My guess is that they wanted to bring on a striker for a midfield player and that as Sam Corne has a better scoring record than Harry Lee, Lee was sacrificed.
I am not a KSA fan - never was and never will be unless he at least starts putting some effort in. There was enough evidence last season that he couldn't hack it at this level (and one or two average games in March/April last season should never cloud that fact either) The signing of Kabba seems to have been overlooked a little as it is an open secret that he is not fit enough to contribute ninety minutes week in week out and, as I have said elsewhere, last started a game for us at the end of October?!
However it is not KSA, Kabba or Adeyinka's fault that they are not up to this level - it is the fault of the people that
a) Had the misguided opinion that they were/are good enough
b) Awarded them a contract and
c) Continue to select them when they are partially fit and/or there are better options to select from.
I have no idea of the budget at PVR. However I can speculate that the money being wasted on these three individuals could have got us one (or more) more than decent strikers at this level.
