I think league rules state postponed games must be rearranged within six weeks so it shouldn't be a surprise to either club.

Short notice yes, but if the team get that new manager feeling and pull off a win on Saturday then we will have good momentum to try and get a result.

I assume its also to take part advantage of Braintree hardly having played in January, and they might be a little rusty.
