Have to wonder if the achievements of Sutton/Maidstone are tainted a bit by having the advantage of playing on their plastic pitches every other week whilst getting far more opportunity to play on grass (away games) than their opponents do plastic. Not sure having to constantly switch from plastic to grass is much of a mitigation.

Except that most clubs train on them all week!

I am a firm believer that football should be played on grass. Despite all the pro-plastic protestations, the bounce of the ball is not the same, there is far more strain on ankles, knees and hips, the colour does not look good, and as for the horrible bits of black plastic that fly around......

it is definitely an unfair advantage. Just look at the home game record on those pitches...should be grass only and a level playing field for everyone

Until we get one in two seasons then its yah boo sucks to the ones who haven't got one. May not be quite the advantage then as a few clubs will have one.

Maidstone lost 7 at home last season and 6 away. So I wouldn't say it was that much of an advantage !
