Club are now stating that season tickets will be accepted at the Charlton friendly.

Even though the post-early-bird season ticket prices haven't been announced yet...

Not sure why people have been asking whether season tickets can be used, they can be used for every pre-season home game, they always have.

Last season they weren't. That's why people have been asking.

Really? That would have been the first year ever then. I used mine last year and it was allowed.

Okay. I was almost certain that last year the club said season tickets wouldn't be accepted. My mistake. Maybe I was thinking of cup games.

£10 on the day for 12-17 year olds. Not the way to price this in my opinion.

Many Charlton fans are fed up so I doubt there will be as many in previous years.

£15 for adults for a Conf South v League 1 friendly? I know it could be our only big gate of the season but could be even bigger if we priced it a bit better.

I agree - the kids pricing is shocking.

Most of the Charlton fans in that age bracket probably paid less for Championship football at the Valley last season and our own kids prices for league games was half that?!

It seems that the club will never learn that putting prices up to plug the financial gap from falling attendances, will only lead to attendances falling further, along with commercial revenue. The board seem to be the only people at the club that don't realise this.

The Charlton friendly is an excellent opportunity to give disgruntled local Charlton supporters a reason to support their local club, yet as always when an opportunity like this arises, the club throw it straight in the bin....

The proof will be in the attendance on the day..,,if it holds up then justified if it doesnt then you are right

I think it's the right pricing to be honest. The club need to maximise the big crowd by getting money in other ways such as the catering and the bar. Hopefully the added investment in the latter will enable us to do this. I think a year or two ago the club were also serving lager by the catering hut, not a bad idea to do this again, especially on a hot day.

All very romantic, how many people know that Charlton under their new owners charged Welling to send a team last season?

If we made it silly cheap we would probable lose money.

I thought the catering was franchised

That is something that I hope would be coming back in house.
