I appreciate the gap between us and E & B but a good performance none the less, and will hopefully instill confidence in the team.

Good run out for the boys. A couple of cracking goals and great to see the changes to the ground.

While we have to appreciate the quality of our opponents I was impressed by what I saw tonight. The team looked very sharp, some of the goals were quality finishes, and we knocked the ball around really well. I've been impressed with Spraque the first 2 games, and thought Jonte Smith and Sam Corne played very well last night.

Saturday will be a much stiffer test and more of an indicator of where we are. But for me, the signs are promising.

Didn't make the Charlton game so first and foremost I was most impressed with the changes. The banners outside, clean toilets and the upstairs bar looks like a 70's diner. Despite the small crowd the food hatch was still doing business and everyone I spoke to was impressed.

On the pitch it's all about levels as it was on Saturday against us and last night it was for us.

Cracking goals by Waldren and Brown which were wasted in this game in all truth. Eight changes at half time made the game more disjointed. The 14 (Mason?) and 15 were both busy players but their decision making left a lot to be desired. I think we were guilty of trying to walk the ball in at times in both halves but that may have been down to the opposition and lack of intensity. Good to see seven different scorers and forwards in both halves that ran around a lot (unlike most of last seasons)

No dispute about it, they are an awful level. Good run out for us, we could have scored 15 and last night we could work on our shape and get some fitness and pitch time without being pressured. Apart from their free kick the most they hit was a scuffed shot or a cross that nearly went in.

Its only a friendly but beating Maidstone would give us more idea of where we are.

Very promising and seems a fair few of the new players have a bit of skill and like to play.

Winning 7 1 is how it should be...We have played lower teams in the past few years and struggled to score a few goals. This squad looks Sharpe and I've really enjoyed the 1st 2 games.
