Shame. There are those who train hard and grab the opportunity given to them with both hands, and then there are those who without logic just waste everyone's time.

Hopefully this will act as a wake up call to him and that he'll knuckle down and work his way back up to this level. Also this will act as a reminder to the team that's pi** taking will not be tolerated.

Wow. That's harsh. How do you know how hard he trained? The fact is that the squad needed reducing and he was behind Lyle Della-Verde and Archie Johnson in the pecking order so it is better for him to go back, play regular football, and maybe return to a club at this level next season.

Personally, I wish him well for the future.

Very harsh. I believe he went because MG wanted to bring in a bit more experience, like Della-Verde, Walker, Coombes etc.

I liked the look of Oli so hopefully he can be back in the not too distant future with more games under his belt.

Olly will be a good player, hopefully with us in a year or two. Cannot see how you think he is a piss taker, he has a lot of quality but needs a bit more experience and could become a really good player.

I think he will develop into an excellent player - unlucky with us. I hope we get him back. Bobby Devyne has gone back to Enfield Town too - and it seems he has re-signed for them. Jonte Smith played in Cray Wanderers' fa cup defeat on Saturday - I hope he is still just on loan. Between them all, that is a hell of a lot of pace we have just lost.

Good luck to Sprague and Devyne although I think most of us would agree that LDV and Coombes are a definite upgrade.

Why oh why do we let players get cup tied so easily?? I hope we don't get further injuries in the next three games and miss not having Smith available for Saturday week....

Okay I apologise, maybe I just got out the wrong side of the bed this morning. Could be residual anger from the games prior to Concord Away. I agree Olly shouldn't be solely blamed for those results. Like you say, I have no idea how hard he did or didn't train. Mayne he just wasn't ready for this level even if he gave 100%. Either way I wish Olly the best and hope that he'll be back in this league or higher sooner rather than later.
