Still the same defensive mistakes, still a lack of fitness. How many goals have we conceded in the last 20 minutes. The players are not fit enough to play 90. This was recognised 3 weeks ago and nothing seems to have changed.
In all fareness the first 60 minutes we looked really good. Had we been 5-0 up after an hour Hemel could not have complained. The midfield and forwards look good but if you can't stop silly goals being conceded then you cant win games . Lewington made an awful mistake for the 2nd but after keeping us in lots of games this year I can't really criticise him.
So after 10 games, 1 win, 2 draws and 7 losses. Bottom of the league.
Lots of thinking and several changes needed.

Watching our manager discuss general bollocks with someone or other 15 minutes prior to KO didn't I still me with confidence.
Going 2-0 up at half time, did.
Watching us fall apart in the second made me angry.
Enough is enough Mr Goldburg. Get a ****ing manager in and stop trying to be the one stop shop.
As mentioned previously, you will still gain respect by being a chairman.
What the **** did you say to our team at half time? If anything at all?
Have either coach or manager built a team from scratch before or have they just built on what they inherited? I'll grant them there wasnt too much to inherit but it is difficult to get away from the feeling a portion of this is self inflicted. Admittedly Jefford has long since departed but the rest of our first choice defence at the start of last season was not where the problems lay when fit. Those that might have been persuaded to stay or did stay would have been stepping down rather than stepping up. It is difficult to feel Lokko, Williams and one of Osbourne or Chambers would not have been at least equally effective. Given that we appear to be running a larger budget that would seem odd if it was a primary consideration.
It's all about ego and wanting it to all be about himself. Well it is, and the other side of that coin is that it is also 100% about him in situations like this.
No doubt we'll sign more attackers in the coming days when any fool can see where the problem lies. Even a team as pony as Hemel worked out in no time that banging diagonal balls to where our full backs should be was the way to play.
The whole situation is difficult to understand. New Manager, new team, bigger budget, playing in a lower league, good & proven players allowed to leave and we are bottom of the league. A dramatic change of performance is needed if we are to avoid another drop down. Having brought in so many new players, without success, I don't believe MG & Co will do any better by changing the playing staff yet again. It's a dire situation.
Sadly I can't see a way out. Guardiola and Mourinho would struggle to wring three points out of this "team."
The cracks were showing in pre-season and changes should have been made then.
The most worrying concern for me is that I don't think this club could afford to go down the Ryman Premier. In all honesty I think that would be curtains for the club.
WTID yet again I don't agree maybe one day.
32 games left.
Performances not good squad not good enough.
Decisions to be made about management that is clear.
Talking about Ryman league & WUFC folding is pointless give me a break.
As much as people can put stuff up like this. He has won this league as manager. Seems a bit unfair just to post a negative article. Most Bromley fans admit he did wonders off the pitch. 8 days ago we had 90 people at the over 30's night and last night there were over 100. All money coming in which wasnt before.

The amount of stuff you have posted recently which is complete nonsense is staggering, your opinion on Sprague recently for example. What on earth do you know about the club finances and what level we could survive at?
There were several games in the Ryman that had less than 200 people watching. In the Ryman North and South there were many teams were less than 100 watching.
I despair at some of the stuff i've heard and read today. I feel like giving up as well!

I'm prepared to accept it takes more time as every single player has changed since last season and there have been a fair few changes during the first 10 games too. What I don't get is how unfit the team are......surely he had people around him at Bromley that took care of that. Any manager can lose games.....but when they look dead on their feet after an hour something serious is up

Sorry Polo but i didn't start the whole post in the first place.
I also said that I wasn't there so cant comment on the performance.
But the games I have managed to see I haven't seen much improvement.
If previous management teams went on a run like this i'm sure a post like mine would be pretty much the norm questioning his ability.
All i'm saying is 2 wins in last 20 games isn't clever at all.
Also the latter part of your comment is all fine in how he managed Bromley to success
but "he did wonders off the pitch" does not win you any points in a match.
This season I have watched the first 2 games, and now the last 2 games. I would say in those few weeks the team is a massive improvement on the crap I witnessed at Oxford and home to BS a few days later. Those games were like watching last season - absolutely no cutting edge, and if we carried on with Slabber as the main striker then just like last season, it would be a hopeless cause and we'd already be doomed. I actually think that Coombes and today Morgan look as good as anything on offer at this level and for 60 minutes today going forward the team looked far more creative, pacy and dynamic than those opening weeks. They did at Dartford too.......night and day compared to the first 2 games
Sadly football doesn't last for 60 minutes though and if he doesn't get these players fit then there will be more days like today. We should have had at least 4 points from the last 2 games, but instead we got none and all of that was down to basic defensive errors and lack of match fitness
I think we cant keep banging our heads against the wall with reasons as to why we are in this mess. Its clearly obvious what the issue is and we need to spend money on the defence. I think MG will have to eventually step aside as it can't continue as it is. He has got lots of players in but too many of them are Ryman level. The whole defence needs ripping out and starting again.
Sadly I can't see a way out. Guardiola and Mourinho would struggle to wring three points out of this "team."

I've already apologised for the over reaction regarding Sprague.
All my other recent posts have echoed everyone else's thoughts regarding the teams poor performance.
It's most likely because of the budget constraints that we've mostly recruited Ryman league players not ready for this level. Need I remind you that we nearly went bust a few years ago due to the club struggling to pay it's taxes, and that was with higher attendances and gate receipts than we have at present.
Yes there may be clubs in the Ryman with attendances of circa 200 but firstly their overhead costs and wage bill may be considerably less than ours. They may very well own their ground outright and not have the local council charging a significant amount of rent. Also how do we know what the state of those clubs finances is like?
