1. He is pretty down about it all

2. He doesnt APPEAR to think anyyhing is likely to change with current personnel

3. Doesnt think too many clubs would want our players on the money they are on

4. Doesnt look like he will be manager any time soon

Oh well!y

Goldberg is presiding over probable relegation to the Ryman as things stand. What a tremendous achievement to be proud of that would be for him.

I know MG got some stick Saturday, but the players are taking the piss out of him with these performances.

The players are taking the mick out of him and us and, lest we forget, the same things happened under the previous two regimes during our last season and a half in the Conference. Some of the fault quite clearly lies in recruitment but, as with clubs considerably higher up the pyramid (see Mourinho at Chelsea last season when his players downed tools) it is far easier to heap the blame on and make one bloke the scapegoat than it is too point the blame at half a dozen (or more) players.

However, if they are on good contracts, then there will be little inclination to go or indeed to put themselves out whether that be in training or on a Saturday afternoon. If stories of not showing up for training, turning up late for training/playing and crying off from travelling at the eleventh hour are true then those concerned should be fined and warned that if their conduct doesn't improve then the door is over there and they can **** off.

This club has had far less talented players than we have now in the past but those who lacked in talent more than made up for it in effort and commitment. That's what I and fellow supporters want to see and I suspect what MG and JD want as well and sooner rather than ******* later wouldn't go amiss...!

Agreed and breach of contract is one way to despatch them!

I'm sorry, but MG signed the players and, if they are on reasonable contracts and good money, it is down to him to sort it. All Jamie ( and MG) should expect is that players put in the effort and turn up for training. Rightly or wrongly, MG is the manager and, if any discipline is involved he should be responsible. I really do not see how Jamie can do an effective job all the while MG is involved  on the playing side - especially (and it may or may not be awkward for Daisy) with a number of players  MG has known from his Bromley days.

So it's seems to be agreed that we have a talented team of individuals but that they are not combining as a team and not putting in the effort. Surely that failing is down to MG as the manager. Instilling a team spirit and motivating each individual to do their best is, on my opinion, the main role of the manager. Perhaps MGs off field activities do not allow him enough time with the team? Let's also not forget that Jaime built his success by leading from the front out on the pitch. As he's no longer playing and as it's not "his" " group of players he's in a different role as he was, without success, when he left us.

All we can do as long term supporters is to continue to be constructive in our comments and look to promotion back to this league next season.

Absolute Tool, because of course we are relegated already aren't we being a win from getting out of the bottom 3 and we are in November.

Although I agree with the sentiment we are now actually more than a single win from being out of the bottom 3.

It's not just one or two wins, but a consistent improvement in performance for the rest of the season. All the teams around us will, or should, be fighting to survive, does the current Wings team have the will and determination to pull it all together? Not from what I've seen so far.

Correct. We probably have more quality than the likes of Concord and W-S-M but they are established sides at this level and they will be well up for the fight to stay here.

You hit the nail right on the head there Chris...They don't have a fight in them, no leader on and off the pitch....
