Great news welcome back Adrian Pennock and good luck to Jamie Day.
Well done Mark Goldberg for recognising that he needed to step down. Management at this level is hard work and requires many hours of dedication which is pretty much impossible to do alongside running the club as well as other business interests.
The relegation battle starts here.

Great news that Mark Goldberg has finally seen the light. There is no denying that it is going to be a tough task to stay up but I feel a lot more confident that we will see the necessary improvement on the pitch with the partnership of Jamie as Manager and Adie as Consultant at the helm.

Great news, a real shot in the arm that gives us some hope, credit to MG for taking this step which was probably a difficult one for him personally. We now know we have a winning team in the dugout.
It must have been an incredibly hard decision for Mark Goldberg to make - especially given his recognised track record as stated. It speaks well of him and his principles. There is no doubt that it will be a hard struggle to avoid relegation, but we have the best people in the dugout (welcome back Ade and congrats Jamie) and the best person to take this club forward in MG.

Not sure why we need a "consultant" to be quite honest - this is National South not the Premiership last time I looked. Clearly AP and JD work well together but the monies paid out for a consultant might be better spent on changing some of the personnel on the pitch with new faces and/or getting rid of some of the current ones rather than further increasing the size of the team off the pitch.
As others have already said credit to MG for stepping aside. We can see the improvements that have been carried out off the pitch and long may that continue.
The vast majority of us wanted this change sooner rather than later and now we have it. Now as supporters we need to get behind the new regime starting at Concord at the weekend.
It will be a hard task to stay up now with so many wasted games and opportunities. We hope that a winning run can be put together to boost confidence for the new year. Jamie is the only hope for that to happen good luck to all of them we need it. Now start strengthening the defence.
He has failed in potentially catastrophic fashion on the field, made all the same mistakes of recent managers signing weak players on big money and putting them on contracts, and now, reluctantly I expect given he didn't bring Daisy in as manager from day one, handed over a huge problem to someone else to sort out. Any other manager in his position would be getting sacked, and the only reason he isn't is because he is effectively the owner, and yet we are commending him for stepping aside long after he said he would do, and should have.

Hardly deserving of praise. Good luck Jamie.
Jody Brown is back lol
Not Jody Brown....although it may be someone else not wanting to put their name behind their posting.
Unfortunately we also have some other posters who use a different account, as well as having a seperate one that they are more well known for.
