Hi all,

Just wondering if there are any improvements on the tannoy you would like me to make. Feel like I should mix the songs up a bit so send any songs you would like to hear/walk out to.

I am also thinking of playing music when we score, what are your thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Ben

No thank you. I'm not a fan of that at all.

Yes please. We really need something to get the crowd going at PVR. I suggest 'Chase the sun' by Planet Funk which is the 'OI, OI, OI'  one they play at the PDC darts.

In terms of general music you can't go wrong with a bit of punk rock like The Clash and The Jam which seems to be popular with many of our fans.

A few seasons ago, having avoided relegation, the team ran out to "The great escape", let's hope that's appropriate at the end of the season.

In light of our home form over the last season and a half surely we should revert to an old favourite...."ain't no stopping us now..."

And, as for music after scoring a goal, no thank you.

London Calling, was a favourite tune of a great fan & it seem to bring good luck that season

i have said it before Parklife would be my first choice but London Calling would be my second choice and sounded great when it was played.

As for music after a goal I can take or leave it but open to try something new a sample of the kids are united or parklife could work

No to music after the goals... however, it'd be a rare event anyway at the moment.

Lincoln had nicked my long standing upbeat suggestion of Swords of a Thousand Men last time we went. I'm not expecting anyone else to agree but as a grinding statement of intent both musically and lyrically, Judas Priest's United would be apposite. Whether we could live up to it is another thing entirely...

Look around
They're moving in
Hold your ground
When they begin

We can do it
We can do it and if they wanna they can try
But they'll never get near
Then they can get out of here

Gonna keep on driving
Never stop

United, united, united we stand
United we never shall fall
United, united, united we stand
United we stand one and all

So keep it up
Don't give in
Make a stand
We're gonna win

We can do it
We can do it and if they wanna they can try
But they'll never get near
Then they can get out of here

Gonna keep on driving
Never stop

United, united, united we stand
United we never shall fall
United, united, united we stand
United we stand one and all

Please no music in the rare event that we score. As for entering the field of play music -"Hopping down in Kent", "Goldfinger" or, controversially, "A las barricadas".

Goal music is always dreadful. Hope that was a blip.

Used today as a test run. Didn't get the feedback I wanted so won't be doing it again.

Is there music piped into the dressing rooms? Something calming and quiet for the visitors and something stirring and inspiring for the home team?

All dressing rooms have awful music blaring out that they bring in themselves. I know that Stuart Pearce used to get everyone going with Punk music when he was playing for Nottingham Forest, but I don't know if he started it.

Presumably once Cloughie had taken his leave....  wouldn't imagine he'd have been Wattie Buchan's number one fan!
