Jamie's body language is interesting in the latest, Shampan-sponsored, Wings TV interview.  Poor bloke does not know what to do with his hands!

I don't think we can read anything into that. Most people doing interviews on camera aren't comfortable. Also Gillingham sacking Edinburgh was way after that being filmed. In fact Justin Edinburgh was at our game against Margate no do looking at Coombes.

Yes! Telling us how Adam Coombes has been very loyal to Welling by turning down two approaches for him. Good to know he admires loyalty. Won't stop him poaching Coombes in the next few days or weeks though will it

The fact that JD & Coombes were / are not on contract suggests that they only ever thought of Welling as a stepping stone back to higher levels of football - as JD mentioned in the interview. One of the big mistakes of Faz was putting everyone on contract and then not being able to show them the door, but with no contracts the guys are free agents to go for a better offer. Getting the balance right is down to MG.

Can't help feeling gutted though especially with a few more difficult games coming up.
