It seems unbelievable to me that Wheeler would be looking to the future at all at this club beyond the next week. Hopefully we will have a new manager very soon who may very well want their own coaching team.

One thing I would observe going forward. I know the conventional wisdom is dont do a substitution while you are defending. Fine principle normally. However, if you are two nil down with six minutes left to play and you want the sub to affect the play you have to get them on. We effectively wasted four minutes of the remaining ten they could have been effective in the game getting out of our own half before we chose to make the substitution. Probably not much point then.
Given the defending we had already displayed there was no guarantee it wasn't going to go to 3-0 without the change!
